We are looking for the right leader to take on this challenge and drive mobile innovation for the company.\n\nNote that the Suzy team will continue working from home until it is safe to return to a brand new lower Manhattan office in 2021.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n\n* Lead the development resources related to the development of Suzy’s consumer mobile apps\n\n* Make decisions around the standards for code and practices across iOS and Android \n\n* Collaborate with a Product Manager in order to set expectations around the product roadmap, plan sprints and manage resources\n\n* Work with the Director of Engineering to align on process, documentation, and technology decisions\n\n\n\n\nRequirements:\n\n\n* 7+ years of experience as a software developer\n\n* .NET 4.0, excellent understanding of .NET memory and performance considerations\n\n* Deep understanding of Xamarin Forms\n\n* Experience building multiple apps using Xamarin\n\n* Knowledge of IOS Coding Patterns (ViewControllers, Views, Present, etc.)\n\n* Understanding of Android patterns (Activities, Fragments, Services, etc.)\n\n* Experience with the following methods:\n\n* Async framework methods\n\n* Multi-threading\n\n* ViewModel/MvvM\n\n* Experience integrating with web/REST services\n\n* A solid understanding of OOP principles\n\n* Ability to write technical specifications and documentation\n\n* Experience in flow charts, data flow diagrams and logical flow diagrams\n\n* Experience with agile development methodologies\n\n* Comfortable with code-sharing patterns across multiple platforms. Exciting, stealth startup is looking for a senior Xamarin developer to program user interfaces for our mobile applications using the Xamarin framework and toolset. We are seeking a developer who can join our team and keep us on top of the leading edge of mobile front-end programming techniques, technologies, and development standards.\n\nCompensation is in the form of stock options to start for part time freelance work, with opportunity for salary and additional stock options as the company matures\n\nREQUIREMENTS\n--1+ years experience developing iOS and Android apps using the Xamarin framework and toolset (Xamarin Studio and/or Xamarin for Visual Studio).\n--3-4 years C# experience\n--Strong knowledge of the Apple App Store, Google Play Store and the entire mobile store life cycle including store policies, publishing, deployments, and provisioning.\n--Must have released an app to one or both of the app stores (Apple, Google)\n--Experience creating apps for both iOS and Android platforms using Xamarin\n--Experience building UIs driven from designers and images, managing application flow, UX, and optimizing UI transitions and performance on mobile devices.\n--Experience organizing and maintaining a common library shared amongst various platforms (iPhone, iPad, Android, etc.)\n--Experience with web APIs\n--Experience developing apps for both mobile and tablet using the Xamarin platform.\n--Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) and/or Visual Studio Online.\n--Must have experience with user story writing, dev task documentation, and time estimation.\n--Educated in information systems and/or computer science\n--Passion for shipping working software, being practical and pragmatic\n--Xamarin Test Cloud experience is a plus\n--Experience with Objective C, Swift and/or Java to develop mobile apps is a plus\n--Ability to collaborate with designers, content creators and non-technical staff to develop robust and user-friendly apps\n--Unit and end-to-end testing experience\n
