Youre an experienced problem solver with strong hunches more often right than wrong about where problems lie. A constant learner, youre a continuous contributor to the team IQ level. Youve got the ability to take on and individual assignments and complete them soup to nuts. As much as you love the elegance and power of good architecture, your number one focus is delivering software to do the job and you pride yourself on doing that well. \n\nWhat youll be doing: \nOur Software Engineers are responsible for the following software feature activities: \n * Coding in a Microsoft development stack. This involves building applications using ASP.NET MVC 4.0/5.0, C# 5.0, and SQL Server 2008/2014.\n * Ability to implement proper Design and Architecture.\n * Analyze complexity.\n * Implementation (i.e coding) of the feature in a mostly vertical fashion (i.e UI, Business Layer, Database Access and Schema Design, External Interfaces).\n * Understands and follows the companys Software Development Processes (i.e SCRUM).\n * Ensures quality of implementation and support the feature during testing/bug fixing phase.\n * Authors required documentation (in code or WIKI).\n * Keeps all assigned cases up to date and updates statuses as required.\n * Perform code reviews.\n \n \nSoftware Engineers: \n * Tackle hard engineering problems with many unknowns.\n * Ability to overcome difficulties with little or no help.\n * Help identify any gaps in application platform, propose and implement solutions.\n * Help contribute to feature scoping and development estimates.\n * Are proactive about developer testing. They frequently utilize unit tests to ensure long term health of their code.\n * Are able to code across all levels.
