What is the job?
No matter how powerful and flexible you build a platform, at the end of the day itโs the tools and services you present to the user that define the experience. Radix is seeking a veteran, .NET developer to build the systems that will define the future of decentralized finance (DeFi).
DeFi has turned out to be the killer app that is taking public distributed ledgers from niche products for speculators and hobbyists to projects of global economic significance, and with it has come a new paradigm for user experiences. Authentication models, interoperability expectations, and the entire concept of user accounts are all undergoing dramatic changes; at Radix youโll have the opportunity to define the way forward while working at the very cutting edge of a space undergoing furious growth
Working from a coherent vision, step by step you will turn requirements into top-notch products working with ace developers and testers through rapid cycles of implementation, feedback gathering, and tuning to produce delightful results. You will come face to face with all the nuances and complexities of asynchronous processing of payment transactions. No architectural decision will be made without your participation. Constant challenges will become an integral part of your working day and boring coding will remain a scary memory.
About you
You are adept at going from problem statements to solution design, and then breaking that high level design down into discrete segments of useful work.
You have a good instinctual feel for the complexity of a development problem, and can quickly determine which things will be risky/challenging and which should be straightforward.
Once you understand a system concept, you are able to identify the highest value area to work on next. You can work towards a desired end state and come up with your own tasks to achieve it along the way.
You have released and maintained consumer-facing things in the past; your history is not limited to internal business applications or implement-and-handoff contracting engagements.
You are a high output developer. You make rapid progress when building out systems.
Youโre intelligent and learn quickly. Absolutely no one at Radix winds up only doing whatโs in their job description, and adaptability is essential.
What do you need?
5+ years as a professional software engineer
Fluent in C#/.NET
Comfortable at any place in the tech stack above the OS level
Familiarity with the current crypto ecosystem is a plus, but not required. When youโre here, youโll learn a ton about it either way!
About us
At RDX Works (formally Radix DLT), we're a team of like-minded thinkers who have long been convinced that we're living in the earliest stages of a global financial revolution. This revolution is being fuelled by decentralized finance (or DeFi for short), which is enabling an assortment of pioneering developers and entrepreneurs to re-invent almost every financial product that is currently traded and invested in traditional markets, without requiring central authorities or siloed infrastructure. DeFi has captured a great deal of attention and investment in the crypto-aware niche, growing assets under management to over $100 billion in the last year. Impressive as its growth has been, its current market size isn't even a rounding error on the over $111 trillion held in traditional finance. We're focused on what it will take to go from billions to trillions.
RDX went back to first principles to come up with the right technical solutionโthe first layer-one protocol built specifically for mainstream DeFiโand we have already tested out at over 1 million transactions per second. We're keenly aware that the need for an infinitely scalable platform is only one prerequisite among many for mass adoption, and we're also blazing new ground in the areas of purpose-built developer tools, user experiences, and regulatory integration.
We have forged a path deep into the future of what distributed ledger technology is going to look like and we need you to come and be part of the team that is making that happen right now.

This job post is closed and the position is probably filled. Please do not apply. Work for Likvido and want to re-open this job? Use the edit link in the email when you posted the job!
Hello there!\n\n\n\nYou should start out by watching this video I made JUST for this job-post:\n\nhttps://www.loom.com/share/670650aba7194718a3e3b4c8bcdb314a\n\n\n\nHere I explain what we are doing in detail :)\n\n\n\n**Here is the text-version**:\n\n\n\nThis is not your typical job-post, because guess what, weโre not a typical company. You see, at Likvido, weโre about to face some VERY interesting challenges, and we need you on our team to absolutely smash those challenges.\n\n\n\nSince we launched Likvido in April 2018, weโve absolutely killed it. Not only do we now have 500+ customers - among many of the hottest startups and scaleups in Denmark - we also managed to get very serious funding, have very good unit economics and built a really cool technical platform. However, weโre just getting started.\n\n\n\n**So what are we doing?**\n\nWe are solving the biggest reason for companies going bankrupt in Europe. You see, 19 % of all invoices are paid late, and roughly half of all bankruptcies are caused by lack of cash. \n\n\n\nLikvido is defining a new category weโre calling a โcustomer payment systemโ. Today you integrate Likvido with your accounting system, and then we automate sending out invoices, send our reminders, start debt collection and post back to the accounting system. Looking ahead, we will add financial products, give the whole organization access to our system and much more. In brief, we help companies get paid - on time - and forecast their cash flow.\n\n# Responsibilities\n
The platform is ~12 months old. We have a big monolith ASP.NET MVC application, combined with 3 solid ASP.NET Core microservices. Everything is hosted in Azure and Github, and we use many of the Azure products, including Azure DevOps. Yeah, weโre a startup, but we do have hundreds and hundreds of tests.\n\n\n\nThe platform is built by me, the author (you thought it was an HR person writing all along, didnโt you?). Iโve studied at the Technical University of Denmark, and I have built this kind of stuff before - and trust me - the platform is solid and not burning.\n\n\n\nWe're a remote development team (2 people in Russia, 1 in Ukraine and then a bunch of freelancers). \n\n\n\nThe job:\n\nWe need to be a part of the full-time development team, and develop a lot of features. Some example features:\n\n\n\n- We need to launch internationally\n\n- Split our frontend and backend apartment, so we have a โreal APIโ\n\n- We need to support ie multiple payment methods, data-providers, letter-senders, accounting systems\n\n- We need to professionalize our operations team (ie. full CD/CI, dashboards, application insights, logging)\n\n- Lots and lots of specific features our clients are screaming us for\n\n\n\nWe are in the situation that if we had out full 2019 roadmap ready, we could 10x our size because clients would use our product so much more. We have definetely hit product-market fit and just need great code. \n\n# Requirements\nWeโre a quite realistic bunch at Likvido: you donโt need 8 years of experience in some JavaScript framework that was invented in 2015...\n\n\n\nInstead, weโre looking for someone who:\n\n\n\n- Has 2-4+ years of experience as a developer in .NET technologies\n\n- Experience with building web-based platforms (ie MVC frontend and .NET in back)\n\n- You're a mature developer that tests your own code\n\n- Have a strong sense of scaleable architecture\n\n\n\nSo if you consider yourself a top .NET developer, please apply! \n\nPlease mention the words **DRAW PANTHER MEMORY** when applying to show you read the job post completely (#RMjE2LjczLjIxNi4xNDY=). This is a feature to avoid spam applicants. Companies can search these words to find applicants that read this and see they're human.\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
