\nSUMMARY\n\nThe primary responsibility of the Vice President Investor Relations is to design and lead the execution of the companyโ€™s investor relations program. The investor relations teamโ€™s primary mission is to increase shareholder value by effectively communicating Marathonโ€™s strategy, operational updates, and financial results to shareholders, research analysts, and the broader financial community. Additionally, we provide Marathonโ€™s management team and board of directors with a better understanding of Marathonโ€™s positioning and emerging trends by analyzing. financial research/information about Marathon, our peers, and the broader industry.\n\n \n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.\n\n* Provide on-going reports and information to management and the board regarding investor feedback, perceptions and opinions, stock price movements, and ownership analysis.\n\n* Develop multi-year investor targeting and communication plans that drive multiple expansion.\n\n* Collaborate with finance, communications, and legal teams to craft the Companyโ€™s messaging for the financial community and by:\n\n\n* Drafting press releases, earnings call scripts, shareholder letters, investor presentations, etc.\n\n* Managing the quarterly earnings results process.\n\n* Maintaining the Companyโ€™s investor relations website.\n\n\n\n\n\n* Serving as the primary point of contact for all investors (institutional and retail) and equity research analysts.\n\n* Work alongside the finance and operations teams to develop a clearer understanding of business drivers and key performance indicators.\n\n* Inform Leadership, peers, and Board of Directors around key areas of focus from investors.\n\n* Closely monitor our share valuation, shareholder mix, and associated dynamics\n\n* Track and maintain analystsโ€™ consensus and actively participate in the financial guidance process.\n\n* Conduct analysis on Marathon, our peers, and the industry as well as buy/sell-side trends to keep the management team apprised of our current and changing position in the market.\n\n* Managing the Companyโ€™s IR calendar, attending investor conferences, etc.\n\n\n\n \n\nQUALIFICATIONS:\n\n\n* 10 + years of experience in investor relations (agency or in-house), investment banking, or equity research.\n\n* Familiarity with Bitcoin, cryptocurrency, DeFi, fintech, or tech companies.\n\n* Robust financial and analytical skills with the ability to interpret information and financial concepts for the investment community and management and apply them in business analysis situations.\n\n* Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Attention to detail is a must.\n\n* Strong organizational skills. A history of balancing competing priorities with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines.
