What is the job?
Looking for challenging responsibilities in the most promising tech industry? Join us as the first QA Automation Engineer (in this particular product team) in the crypto financial industry, and you will get the most out of using new technologies and test methods.
You will accelerate your career and constantly improve technically by tackling these issues and being able to utilize the personal ยฃ2000/year budget for learning & development.
You will challenge all user scenarios and test cases to investigate all possibilities of failure across a range of Web apps, and API applications. You will make sure that happy path scenarios function as advertised, and that a massive array of potential error conditions all fail gracefully, predictably and in a meaningful way to end users.ย
During your first few months, you will start by defining the tools and frameworks required to have a complete suite of automated tests. This will involve diving into the applications features and functionality, rolling up your sleeves doing manual testing. With a better understanding under your belt, you will define test plans that can beย automated and cover UI and API testing, as well as testing failures in any of the subsystems, including databases, third-party services or other internal services.
What are we looking for?
You enjoy automating everything, the thought of repeating tasks manually makes you shiver, but you understand the need to do exploratory manual testing to create test plans.
You have experience testing Web apps, APIs applications in a fast delivering growth environment.
You are a hands-on, independent product tester with experience working in a multidisciplinary team formed of designers, Front and Backend developers and DevOps.
Youโre patient when dealing with others. Youโre a good listener, and happy to be a teacher when needed.
What skills do you need?
You have solid demonstrable experience as a QA Automation Engineer doing end-to-end testing.
You love breaking things and let your creativity go wild (e.g. functional and black-box testing, regression testing, system integration testing, load testing, manual testing).
You are proficient in at least one programming/scripting language such as Python, C#, Java or JavaScript.
Experience with BDD, TDD, or contract testing.
Docker and Git experience is important.
You have good knowledge and understanding of CI/CD cycles and integration test automation with CI/CD.
Who are we?ย
At RDX Works, weโre a team of like-minded thinkers who have long been convinced that weโre living in the earliest stages of a global financial revolution. This revolution is being fuelled by decentralized finance (or DeFi for short), which is enabling an assortment of pioneering developers and entrepreneurs to re-invent almost every financial product that is currently traded and invested in traditional markets, without requiring central authorities or siloed infrastructure. DeFi has captured a great deal of attention and investment in the crypto-aware niche, growing assets under management from $1 billion to over $200ย billion in a few years. Impressive as its growth has been, its current market size isnโt even a rounding error on the over $400 trillion held in traditional finance. Weโre focused on what it will take to go from billions to trillions.
RDX went back to first principles to come up with the right technical solutionโthe first layer-one protocol built specifically for mainstream DeFiโand we have already tested out at over 1 million transactions per second. Weโre keenly aware that the need for an infinitely scalable platform is only one prerequisite among many for mass adoption, and weโre also blazing new ground in the areas of purpose-built developer tools, user experiences, and regulatory integration.
We have forged a path deep into the future of what distributed ledger technology is going to look like and we need you to come and be part of the team that is making that happen right now.
If this job sounds like it was made for you, then please apply directly via the link or email [email protected] for more information.
Alternatively, if you feel like you donโt match all of the requirements, we would love you to still apply anyway. We understand that confidence gaps and imposter syndrome can get in the way of meeting incredible candidates and we wouldnโt want this to prevent us from meeting you; especially as we are big advocates of helping people learn & grow. This is also another reason we do not advertise salaries, we want to keep it as even a playing field as possible!

What is the job?ย
Looking for a fresh new high-tech environment? Then our innovate distributed ledger technology is exactly what you need, as it challenges you with next-level data structures and Byzantine fault tolerance.ย
You will accelerate your career and constantly improve technically by tackling these issues and being able to utilize the personal ยฃ2000/year budget for learning & development.ย
You get to do all the fun stuff. No turning reams of procedural business logic into code for you! Your days will be filled with hard, interesting problems -ย thinking through all the ways things can go wrong and coming up with solutions which are both elegant and practical - and then turning these into code. You will meddle with dark powers best left untouched, learn more about decentralized systems than you dreamed was possible, and work with an inspiring team of incredible people. You will make your mother proud, even if youโre never quite able to properly explain to her what it is you built!
What are we looking for?ย
You are a prolific, confident coder, and are persistent in working problems to resolution.
You possess strong attention to detail, and are rarely surprised by unconsidered edge cases.
Youโve used generic types so much that the angle bracket keys on your keyboard are beginning to wear away.
You are unafraid of working in a space where there is little prior art to refer to.
You enjoy talking through tough problems with smart people, and are happy to accept ideas and approaches that you didnโt personally come up with.
What do you need?
You have solid commercial experience as a Software Developer.
You know Java as your second mother tongue.
You are curious about the Rustacean way of life.
You find distributed systems and asynchronous programming models exciting.
You sometimes dream about coding and the complexity of computer science.

No matter how powerful and flexible you build a platform, at the end of the day itโs the applications you present to the user that define how they perceive it. RDX Works is seeking an Android guru to build the wallet that will define the future of decentralized finance (DeFi).
We have spent the better part of a year researching and testing what the DeFi user experience ought to be, starting with a blank sheet of paper and working our way up to a nearly-complete design.ย Now itโs time to move from prototypes to the real implementation.
Starting out, you will absorb the research, design, and user testing which has taken place over the last year, and then get cracking on converting Figma to code alongside a top-notch team of developers and designers.ย Expect to have a great deal of input on shaping the ultimate design as implementation marches along to our first release, and then to apply everything youโve learned on shaping the next release.
What are we looking for?ย
You have been a big part of at least one consumer-facing Android application which made it to production.
You are a confident coder, and you enjoy working in Kotlin and Java.
Youโre comfortable working without a net.ย Some of the concepts weโre implementing are world firsts, and thereโs no prior art to fall back on or Stack Overflow posts to trawl for help.
You are intelligent and learn quickly.
You enjoy a good design debate and can keep an open mind to ideas which go against your own notion of how a problem should be solved.
What do you need?
Essentials:
4+ years as a professional software developer.
2+ years of Android development.
An application on Google Play you can point to and explain your part in it.
Nice-to-haves:
Some history as a consumer of DeFi; familiarity with the current web3 user experience is a big plus.ย E.g., MetaMask, WalletConnect, etc.
Prior experience collaborating with a design team via a tool like Figma, Sketch, InVision, Zeplin, or similar will stand you in good stead.
Being noddingly familiar with the practical aspects of asymmetric cryptography and zero-knowledge proofs will greatly accelerate you up the learning curve.ย The theoretical underpinnings are less important for this role than the practical applications of said theory.

What is the job?
As a senior Rust software engineer at RDX Works, you will join a team of distributed systems engineers working to bring our smart contract functionality, Scrypto, to the Radix public network. Scrypto is a RDX-created framework and extension to the Rust programming language to enable the rapid and safe development of decentralized financial applications (dApps) that will power the future of DeFi into the mainstream. At RDX, we love Rust. Our smart-contract capability, Scrypto, is Rust-based, the new v2 Radix Engine is built from the ground-up in Rust, and weโre looking to extend its use to the code that runs the Radix Network. This is where we need your help.
When you join us, you will first come up to speed by aiding in the migration of part of the existing codebase from Java to Rust. Building upon this knowledge, you will venture into new territory, solving the challenges ahead to bring programmability to the Radix public network. From this point forward you will be making new ground right at the cutting edge of a rapidly evolving branch of computer science, as we embark on a journey towards a novel, massively sharded release which will enable unlimited scale.
Your days will be filled with hard, interesting problems - thinking through all the ways things can go wrong and coming up with solutions which are both elegant and practical - and then turning these into code. You will be tackling synchronization, consensus and networking problems that often have no perfect answer. You will meddle with dark powers best left untouched, learn more about decentralized systems than you dreamed was possible, and work with an inspiring team of incredible people. You will make your mother proud, even if youโre never quite able to properly explain to her what it is you built.
What are we looking for?

You have done and like to do demonstrably hard things
You enjoy talking through tough problems with smart people, and are happy to accept ideas and approaches that you didnโt personally come up with
You are someone who started to learn Rust for fun and now have several years of experience under your belt
You are able to explain hard concepts in a clear and concise manner
What do you need?
Bachelorโs degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or similar
Solid commercial experience working as a Software Developer
Fluent in Rust and comfortable reading Java
Completely comfortable with asynchronous programming models
Some of the following experience will help you stand out:
Noddingly familiar with the practical aspects of asymmetric cryptography and zero-knowledge proofs, and having an understanding of the underlying theoretical foundations
First-hand experience working with large data sets and dealing with complex distributed systems, and are all too familiar with the attendant complications and gremlins that emerge once not-perfectly-reliable things start talking to each other over a not-perfectly-reliable network
Experience with or knowledge of authenticated data structures
Hands-on experience with big data tools such as Hadoop, Cassandra etc
Experience with blockchain/DLT development
Have a background in computer science or a scientific qualification with demonstrable experience in consensus
Experience implementing a BFT-style consensus protocol

What is the job?
No matter how powerful and flexible you build a platform, at the end of the day itโs the tools and services you present to the user that define the experience. Radix is seeking a veteran, .NET developer to build the systems that will define the future of decentralized finance (DeFi).
DeFi has turned out to be the killer app that is taking public distributed ledgers from niche products for speculators and hobbyists to projects of global economic significance, and with it has come a new paradigm for user experiences. Authentication models, interoperability expectations, and the entire concept of user accounts are all undergoing dramatic changes; at Radix youโll have the opportunity to define the way forward while working at the very cutting edge of a space undergoing furious growth
Working from a coherent vision, step by step you will turn requirements into top-notch products working with ace developers and testers through rapid cycles of implementation, feedback gathering, and tuning to produce delightful results. You will come face to face with all the nuances and complexities of asynchronous processing of payment transactions. No architectural decision will be made without your participation. Constant challenges will become an integral part of your working day and boring coding will remain a scary memory.
About you
You are adept at going from problem statements to solution design, and then breaking that high level design down into discrete segments of useful work.
You have a good instinctual feel for the complexity of a development problem, and can quickly determine which things will be risky/challenging and which should be straightforward.
Once you understand a system concept, you are able to identify the highest value area to work on next. You can work towards a desired end state and come up with your own tasks to achieve it along the way.
You have released and maintained consumer-facing things in the past; your history is not limited to internal business applications or implement-and-handoff contracting engagements.
You are a high output developer. You make rapid progress when building out systems.
Youโre intelligent and learn quickly. Absolutely no one at Radix winds up only doing whatโs in their job description, and adaptability is essential.
What do you need?
5+ years as a professional software engineer
Fluent in C#/.NET
Comfortable at any place in the tech stack above the OS level
Familiarity with the current crypto ecosystem is a plus, but not required. When youโre here, youโll learn a ton about it either way!

Remote Systems Software Engineer Compiler Virtual Machines
Do you want to forever be known as a key part of the team that took decentralized finance (DeFi) mainstream โ by finally delivering safe, approachable, parallelizable programming suitable for global finance on an open distributed ledger? Then look no further!\n\nWe are seeking an engineer with a hefty background in compilers, virtual machines, and systems design to help shape and implement our approach from the ground up, starting with our unique asset-oriented programming model.\n\nYouโll start your Radix career with a period of intense research and prototyping alongside folks who have years of experience thinking about the problem set, and then youโll transition to working on the implementation of the programming and execution layer atop our existing network. Your brain will bend in ways it wasnโt meant to be bent, you will form lifelong bonds with a team of incredible people, and you will forever remember the journey!\n\n\n#About You\n\nYou have a wealth of knowledge about compilers and interpreters that you never get to use at parties.\nYou deeply understand everything that happens between code written in text files to program execution for at least one high-level language.\nYouโre familiar with the basis of some existing VM architectures, and can speak intelligently about the pros and cons of various design approaches.\nYou have previously shipped production software, and understand the importance of timely solutions over academic elegance.\n\n#What skills do you need?\n\n4+ years as a professional software engineer\n\nStrong debugging skills\n\nFluent in Rust, C, or C++\n\nFamiliarity with the underpinnings of LLVM is a plus\n\nFamiliarity with WASM is a plus\n\nSolid understanding of computer architecture is a plus\n\n#About Us\n\nAt Radix, we're a team of like-minded thinkers who have long been convinced that we're living in the earliest stages of a global financial revolution. This revolution is being fuelled by decentralized finance (or DeFi for short), which is enabling an assortment of pioneering developers and entrepreneurs to re-invent almost every financial product that is currently traded and invested in traditional markets, without requiring central authorities or siloed infrastructure. DeFi has captured a great deal of attention and investment in the crypto-aware niche, growing assets under management to $90 billion in the last year. Impressive as its growth has been, its current market size isn't even a rounding error on the over $111 trillion held in traditional finance. We're focused on what it will take to go from billions to trillions.\n\nRadix went back to first principles to come up with the right technical solutionโthe first layer-one protocol built specifically for mainstream DeFiโand we have already tested out at over 1 million transactions per second. We're keenly aware that the need for an infinitely scalable platform is only one prerequisite among many for mass adoption, and we're also blazing new ground in the areas of purpose-built developer tools, user experiences, and regulatory integration.\n\nWe have forged a path deep into the future of what distributed ledger technology is going to look like and we need you to come and be part of the team that is making that happen right now.\n\nIf this job sounds like it was made for you, then please apply directly via the link or email [email protected] for more information. \n\nPlease mention the words **SOURCE PIGEON ROCKET** when applying to show you read the job post completely (#RMjE2LjczLjIxNi4xMQ==). Disintermediate global and local marketplaces with the power of decentralized communities!\n\nWe launched Ethlance (https://ethlance.com) in January 2017. At the time, it was one of the first functional applications to go live on Ethereumโs MainNet and to this day is one of the most used. Districts are a generalization on Ethlanceโs form and function, built using Clojurescript, re-frame and web3.js. We are a 100% open source and remote project, and are looking to secure our first engineering hire to accelerate the deployment of a framework for launching new districts.\n\nThe ideal candidate will have:\nExperience with building front-end for web applications using Clojurescript\nExperience with using re-frame v0.8 library\nIs willing to accept salary paid in Ether/Bitcoin cryptocurrency\n\nNice to have:\nDeep understanding of how the Ethereum network works\nExperience building smart contracts with Solidity\n\n\nAbout district0x\n\nThe district0x Network (https://district0x.io) is an open source collective of decentralized marketplaces and communities, known as districts. Districts exist as decentralized autonomous organizations on the district0x Network, built upon a standard open source framework comprised of Ethereum smart contracts and front-end libraries. This contract framework provides districts with the core functionalities required to operate an online market or community. Namely, the ability for users to post listings, filter and search through listings, rank peers and amass reputation, and send invoices and collect payments.\n\nWe completed a fundraising round in July of 2017, and weโre laying the foundation for launching 5 more districts in the coming year. Weโre dedicated to a long term vision of community driven development and governance. Weโre committed to making the new technology behind the Ethereum network easy to use for all users. We believe fair and democratic user-owned networks will supplant virtually all centralized marketplaces in existence today. What we build will be free, transparent, and publicly available forever.
