Remote Junior DevOps Engineer
\nAbout the Role:\n\n\nAs a fast-growing event ticketing technology company, we are looking for a motivated and talented Junior DevOps Engineer to assist in managing and automating our cloud infrastructure. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to gain hands-on experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, AWS, and networking while working alongside experienced DevOpsEngineers. If you're passionate about Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud automation, and Kubernetes, we’d love to have you on our team!\n\n\n\nCore Qualifications\n* Ability to understand basic AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, VPC,Load Balancers, etc.).\n* Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and automation.\n* Familiarity with Kubernetes (EKS preferred) for container orchestration.\n* Basic knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, Load Balancers, Firewalls, VPC, VPNs, and routing).\n* Experience with GitHub for version control, pull requests, and repository management.\n* Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools).\n* Understanding of monitoring and observability with tools like Datadog, CloudWatch, or Prometheus.\n* Experience with Python or Bash for scripting and automation.\n* Ability to troubleshoot and assist in optimizing cloud and containerized environments.\n* Strong problem-solving skills with a passion for automation.\n* Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a product, engineering, development, or technical delivery position. \n* Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Business, IT correlated discipline; commensurate experience is also accepted.\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n* Knowledge of Helm for Kubernetes package management.\n* Understanding of security best practices in AWS (IAM roles, security groups, encryption).\n* Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring and logging best practices.\n* Exposure to serverless computing (AWS Lambda).\n* Cloud certifications (AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWSCertified DevOps Engineer - Associate, CKAD, or CKA).\n\n\n\n\n\n$95,000 - $100,000 a yearThis role will also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.\n\nAbout Automatiq\n\n\nAutomatiq is the only end-to-end software platform in the live event ticketing market.
