You will be joining a remote team of passionate engineers.  In this role, you will work closely with engineering, product, design, clinical, marketing, and customer reliability teams. Our teams are built on pillars of trust, humility and continuous improvement.\n\nWhat you’ll do:\n\n\n* Take ownership of technical design and implementation by working directly with product, design, and stakeholders to build out new concepts or products\n\n* Partner with sr members of the team to gain feedback on technical design and code plus also assist with implementation on larger projects\n\n* Build modern, beautiful web applications that shape our members’ experiences, empower doctors and health coaches, and support our internal team\n\n* Work closely with our Design teams to design, spec and estimate new projects and features\n\n* Work as part of an amazing team of engineers while being a technical leader and mentor other team members\n\n* Foster high code quality, security and set best practices\n\n\n\n\nWhat you’ll need:\n\n\n* A full stack engineer with 2+ years of experience\n\n* Have  1+ years of on-the-job experience in the following technologies:\n\n\n\n* Front-end frameworks: React, Next, Remix, Vue, or Svelte\n\n* Backend languages support web services: Python, Java, Go, Kotlin or NodeJS\n\n* SQL relational database\n\n\n\n* Have a exposure to microservice patterns, domain services and front-end applications\n\n* Have exposure to design systems, component libraries, and/or Figma\n\n* Experienced in unit testing\n\n* Be able to diagnose and remediate issues in existing systems\n\n* Someone who takes a disciplined approach to development, testing, documentation, code structure and review in a team environment\n\n* Be able to own the development and lifecycle of at least a smaller sized feature\n\n* Have an entrepreneurial mindset in venture-backed growth-stage startups\n\n* Passionate about our mission to live healthier through revolutionary primary care, excited for the future of healthcare, and a personal belief in wellness\n\n\n\n\nOur tech stack:\n\n\n* GCP is our platform for all custom application development and services\n\n* Services are containerized and run in containerd\n\n* GraphQL is our service language for applications.\n\n* Current languages of choice are Golang (new services) and Kotlin (legacy).\n\n* Managed Postgres with Cloud SQL.\n\n* GitHub is our repository and CI/CD service.\n\n\n\n\nBenefits and Compensation:\n\n\nEquity Stake\n\n401(k) + Employer Matching program\n\nRemote-first with the option to work from one of our centers in NYC or LA\n\nComplimentary Parsley Health Complete Care membership\n\nSubsidized Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance plan options\n\nGenerous 4+ weeks of paid time off\n\nAnnual professional development stipend\n\n\n\n\nParsley Health is committed to providing an equitable, fair and transparent compensation program for all employees. \n\nThe starting salary for this role is between $123,250 - $145,000, depending on skills and experience. We take a geo-neutral approach to compensation within the US, meaning that we pay based on job function and level, not location.\n\nIndividual compensation decisions are based on a number of factors, including experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company. We expect the majority of the candidates who are offered roles at our company to fall healthily throughout the range based on these factors.
