We are a global team working together as a team to implement the Nexsan vision. \nResponsibilities\n* Design, develop, improve, and maintain scalable, maintainable, user-facing functionality.\n* Participate in ongoing design, implementation, and maintenance of systems across our cloud stack, from frontend to backend and everything in-between.\n* Research and implement modern frameworks and technologies for front-end systems.\n* Mentor and lead technical direction for the cloud development team.\n\n\nRequirements \n* Demonstrated excellence in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS web development.\n* Previous experience designing, implementing, extending, and maintaining Web Service APIs.\n* NoSQL database development, including data model design and query performance tuning and indexing.\n* Experience using common modern JavaScript frameworks, such as jQuery, AngularJS, Node.JS, Backbone, Ember, Spine, or react.\n* Object Oriented design experience, including familiarity with Design Patterns.\n* Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools.\n* 5+ years professional Software Engineering experience.\n* Familiarity with Version Control Systems (Git, SVN, Perforce, Mercurial, etc.).\n* Ability to write clean, maintainable code.\n* Experience working with Linux on the command-line.\n* BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.\n\n\nBonus Points\n* Previous experience with Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3, ELB, Route53, CloudWatch, Glacier, etc.).\n* User interaction design experience.\n* Previous experience using Git.\n* Experience writing and maintaining shell scripts.\n* Historical presence in the open-source community (GitHub, StackOverflow, ServerFault, mongodb-user, etc.).\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
