Brave is fighting back. Join us!\nSummary\n\nBrave is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer with a focus on blockchain integrations with Brave. You'll work on our Brave Wallet. This is a high profile and impactful, hands-on position. Work together with our product designers, developers and privacy/security experts to help us take our wallet to the next level.\n\nYour responsibilities:\n\n\n* Work closely with the backend team to understand intricacies and help iterate on components used to build our wallet libraries.\n\n* Integrate new features in brave-core that help our front-end team connect prototypes to live data.\n\n* Be up-to-date with upcoming protocol upgrades, BIPs, EIPs, etc.\n\n* Be involved in investigating bugs around blockchain edge cases.\n\n\n\n\n \nRequirements\n\n\n* 5+ years experience with application development.\n\n* Strong C++ development skills required.\n\n* Some JavaScript / TypeScript development skills are a plus.\n\n* History of open source contributions.\n\n* Good understanding of blockchain protocols (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, etc.) and the DeFi ecosystem are a plus.\n\n* Familiarity with cryptocurrency wallet stack (mechanics, UX, etc.).\n\n* Experience with software development via distributed development teams.\n\n* Comfortable working in an open source setting.\n\n* A passion for helping protect users' privacy and security.\n\n* Written and verbal communication skills in English.\n\n* Proven record of getting things done.\n\n\n\n\n \nWorking at Brave\n\n\n* Industry-leader in privacy, with a research and engineering team that’s innovating everyday to keep people safer online and beat Big Tech\n\n* Highly competitive salaries & benefits, and generous home-office stipends\n\n* Fully remote team (no office, no commute)\n\n* Welcoming, humble, ridiculously smart teammates, and a truly flat org structure\n\n* Opportunity to get in early at a hyper-growth company, and revolutionize the web\n\n* Oh, and did we mention Brendan, our CEO & co-founder, invented JavaScript?\n\n\n\n \n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
