Our distributed development team covers the development of the responsive web, mobile and browser extension products. \n\nWe've recently completed the functional MVP and will be pushing on towards our closed-beta launch at the end of January.\n\n#ABOUT YOU\nWe're looking for a freelance dev-ops person who has significant experience configuring, managing, and monitoring servers and backend services at scale to support our core development team.\n\n\n#COME HELP US WITH PROJECTS LIKE...\n- Review our platform architecture requirements and deploy a well documented, secure and scalable cloud based solution\n- Tighten up security of our servers\n- Setup autoscaling of our workers\n- Make our deployments faster and safer\n- Scale our MongoDB clusters to support our growing data sizes\n- Improve API performance\n- Automate more processes\n- Make sure our backup and recovery procedures are well tested\n- Implement a centralized logging system\n- Instrument our application with more metrics and create dashboards\n- Remove single points of failure in our architecture\n\n\n#YOU SHOULD...\n- Have real world experience building scalable systems, working with large data sets, and troubleshooting various back-end challenges under pressure\n- Experience configuring monitoring, logging, and other tools to provide visibility and actionable alerts\n- Understand the full web stack, networking, and low level Unix computing\n- Always be thinking of ways improve reliability, performance, and scalability of an infrastructure\n- Be self-motivated and comfortable with responsibility\n\n\n#WHY WORK WITH US?\n\nWork remotely from anywhere in the world, or from our HQ in London, UK.
