Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in software engineering, computer science, information technology, electrical engineering or a related field. 5+ years of experience in software architecture, .NET, and Microsoft SQL Server. Expertise in back-end technologies such as .NET 6, SQL Server, and Entity Framework, and front-end technologies such as VueJS and Bootstrap. Proficiency in DevOps tools like Azure and GitHub Actions. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a team-driven attitude and the ability to provide leadership and guidance to coworkers and clients. Experience with the software development lifecycle and building/maintaining software systems. Ability to quickly learn new technologies, frameworks, and APIs, and stay up-to-date with industry trends. Well-organized and able to set and meet timelines. Home office with a quiet work environment and reliable high-speed internet, located within the contiguous 48 states. Criminal background and personal reference checks and skills assessments will be conducted.
Compensation and Benefits: Full-time, W-4 based salaried position with a salary range of $125,000 to $140,000 per year, plus a lucrative bonus plan, including profit-sharing. Open to negotiation if you’d prefer a 1099-status. Health insurance is available and a 401(K) retirement plan is provided. IT Project Manager B2U Storage Solutions, Inc. (B2U) develops and operates large scale battery energy storage systems (ESS) utilizing EV batteries in stationary storage applications. B2U uses patented technology to deliver a 40%+ cost advantage and a superior Levelized Cost of Storage (LCOS) over competing systems. B2U’s hybrid ESS facility in Lancaster, CA has been operational since March 2020. B2U closed a $10M Series investment led by Marubeni Corp. in September 2021. Job Description The Information Technology Project Manager will manage initiatives to enhance and evolve the company’s information systems architecture and interfaces between site-based systems and the cloud. This position requires both project management and direct hands-on database management, configuration and development. Responsibilities will include: - Managing internal and third-party resources with a primary initiative underway to migrate to Microsoft Azure and IoT Edge platform from GCP; work conducted by IT consulting firm
- Manage company's Azure based information systems where project manager needs ability to work directly with database
- Supporting company’s business intelligence capabilities to enhanced reporting and analytics capabilities. Company currently migrating from use of Qlik to Power BI
- Evolving deployment of ticketing system for company’s TechOps personnel
- Interfacing with the market facing systems that automate resource scheduling in wholesale markets
- Close collaboration with Engineering on system diagnostics and real time dashboard capabilities for functional testing
- Overseeing/Communicating with third party technology providers (e.g. SCADA consultants)
Qualifications and Experience - 5+ years in some combination of Software Engineering and IT Project Management
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science or related field.

Skills/Requirements - Strong IT project management experience

- Highly motivated self-starter, hands-on, team player
- Excellent planning, problem-solving, and communication skills
