Weโre looking for a Technical Lead Developer to be part of making that happen. \n\nAbout the Role\n\nWe are seeking a highly talented Lead Core Platform Services Developer who will focus on the development of features and services for a newly created team that is consolidating common services, reducing duplication and accelerating downstream R&D teams. You will be a key member of the Core Platform Services team that is responsible for the Access Management Platform (identity, authentication and authorization of users) and the Content Distribution Platform (tracking, storage and distribution of data). These platforms are critical for Arctic Wolf Networks to deliver world-class security operations at scale to global customers. You will be working as a Lead Developer to deliver these critical platforms to keep our customers safe and informed.\n\nA lead developer is responsible for providing the team technical direction to deliver high value, performant software solutions. The lead developer will provide technical guidance and direction to a team of developers through the design, implementation and automated/integration testing of our software. They will also provide guidance on best practices for running, monitoring, and maintaining our system.\n\n\nSome of your day-to-day responsibilities will be:\n\nยท Influence the work of team members, and mentor emerging technical leaders.\n\nยท Demonstrate advanced, wide-ranging experience, using in-depth professional knowledge, acumen, concepts and company objectives to develop, resolve complex models and procedures.\n\nยท Provides solutions to issues in creative and effective ways.\n\nยท Directs the application of existing principles and guides development of new policies and ideas.\n\nยท Architect and develop well-designed, testable, efficient, secure code.\n\nยท Understand and work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.\n\nยท Contribute to the growth and mentorship of other team members.\n\nยท Develop trusted cross-team relationships to deliver solutions that span multiple areas of expertise.\n\nWe value a culture of sharing, so every team has the opportunity to share their work with the entire department during our monthly R&D Demos. While innovation is the focus, some of these ideas do make it into our products.\n\nAbout You\n\nYouโre an experienced software developer who has the ability to perform programming tasks and large engineering projects with independence and expertise. With the responsibility of the end-to-end delivery of projects, you are responsible for guiding and mentoring other staff members, and regularly lead technical projects. You demonstrate mastery over software development practices, and easily develop reusable design patterns. You easily enhance relationships and networks with senior internal/external partners who are not familiar with the subject matter often requiring persuasion, adapting your style to differing audiences and often advising others on difficult matters.\n\nHere are some of the core technologies we use and teach across our teams.
