We are seeking people who demonstrate an ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultures and backgrounds.\nWho You Are:\nYou are an experienced full-stack developer talented in Node.js, Java, and JavaScript. You are a supporter and advocate for a completely serverless AWS stack (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and S3).  You are a problem solver and are motivated to learn. You are able to help plan features from problem statements and loosely defined requirements. You are able to break large projects in manageable chunks to make them easier to work on and consume. You aren't scared to be wrong and don't always have to be right, and you have the ability to leave your ego at the door. You can set measurable goals for yourself and you take the team and personal responsibility seriously.  There are opportunities to develop UI elements in React yourself, so a basic understanding of front-end technologies (Angular.js, ReactJS, CSS, and web components) is desirable.\nWhat You Will Do:\n* Your primary focus will be the development of server-side capabilities on our eSignature SaaS platform and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. \n* You will execute projects, fix bugs, write tests, reduce technical debt, and maintain our documentation. \n* You will collaborate with various teams on a daily basis to make sure what we are creating will support both our internal and external stakeholders. \n* You will work with a Scrum methodology to make sure features ship as they are planned and scheduled.\n\n\nWhat We Are Looking For:\n* Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks such as Express to build RESTful APIs returning JSON\n* Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming, its quirks and workarounds, and experience writing or using JavaScript promises and/or async/await\n* DevOps experience and mentality - You recognize the importance of automating all build, test, and deploy activities for an application and have experience with CI/CD tools such as CircleCI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions and provisioning tools such as Terraform or Cloudformation.\n* Solid foundation in writing queries and updating NoSQL databases such as AWS DynamoDB \n* Experience using the AWS Javascript API to interface with S3 and DynamoDB\n* Good understanding of server-side and client-side javascript build tools and environments such as npm, yarn, Lerna, webpack, and babel \n* Understanding of serverless tools (AWS Lambda, serverless.com and/or Claudia.js frameworks)\n* Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3 and React/AngularJS\n* Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes\n* Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests\n* Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git\n* Familiarity with object-oriented development with Java a plus - especially with using Java APIs for PDF manipulation such as iText, Apache PDFBox, or JPedal\n\n\nBonus Points:\n* Mobile app development experience\n* Experience working with well-performing agile teams\n* Experience working on a SaaS product\n* Experience integrating with 3rd party web applications (through REST API))\n* AWS certifications\n\n\nWhat Formstack Offers:\n* Free health plans, as well as company-paid Dental, Vision, Disability and Life Insurance Benefits for full-time employees.\n* Unlimited PTO for all employees\n* 401k with matching company contribution for full-time employees\n* The most up-to-date technology, including company-issued Macs, the latest software and other tools needed to excel at your job\n* Company-paid conferences and extended learning\n* Yearly company gatherings\n\n\nWant to learn more about who we are and what we value?
