Seated is a music ticketing company founded to completely change the experience of buying tickets to high demand events. We aim to remove the frustration from the buying process, identify scalpers and put tickets in the hands of true fans. We work directly with artists and ensure they are involved at every stage.\n\nWe've already launched with some great early partners including Leon Bridges, Death Cab for Cutie, Christina Aguilera, Robert Plant, Nathaniel Rateliff and others.\n\n**Role**\n\nWe are looking for a full stack web developer who can build features across the the frontend and backend and as needed. Overtime this role will grow and could become more specialised as the team expands or as interests change.\n\n**Tech**\n\nWe run multiple Ember apps in the frontend for buying tickets and for administration. This is all backed by an Elixir Phoenix JSON API running on Heroku and Postgres.\n\n**Requirements**\n\nThe ideal candidate will have both experience in building frontend Ember applications and backend Elixir APIs. We are open to candidates who only have one of these skills and would like to learn about the other. See more below.\n\n**The role is 100% remote.** Work wherever makes you the most productive. The founders are currently based in NYC so **crossover with ET is required (the Americas and Western Europe)**. Fluency in English is required.\n\n**Team**\n\nSeated was founded by people passionate about making a better experience for fans and we believe having a happy and productive team is the best way to achieve that. We are a remote first company and will try to accommodate most working preferences. We do daily video hangouts and face to face company meetups several times a year.\n\nAs a developer at Seated you’ll be working closely with the founders to impact the product roadmap and technical direction. We operate a flat and open structure so you will have a ton of influence.\n\nIf you are a Ruby developer looking to get started with Elixir, or maybe an Elixir developer who is looking to learn Ember then you will have ample time and support to round out your skills.
