\nWe're building a platform locally so we can grow nationally. Want to grow with us? \n\nWho are we and what do we do?\n\nSubtext Media is establishing a new platform to build community. A mashup of an online media site and a marketplace, we've also got a local events calendar, classifieds, services directories with recommendations and portals for our different customers. The responsive front-end connects through a well-designed REST API to a really interesting backend that combines SQL, NoSQL and semantic databases with natural language processing, machine learning and several search technologies. \n\nWho are you?\n\nWe're looking for a great team member to make our team even better. Good Front-end skills, especially EmberJS? Been-there, done-that in RoR? Or any combination? We're interested. We've got one dedicated front-end developer who'd love some help. We have two great full-stack engineers who've got way too much on their plates. If you can do it all, great! If you lean one way or the other, let's talk. \n\nIdeally, you'd be local to our beautiful Upper Valley located on the border between Vermont and New Hampshire where we'd welcome you to our fancy new offices. If you're not within a daily commute (we're about 100 miles northwest of Boston), we'll entertain remote as long as you're in our timezone and can work online with our team via Slack, Trello and Github. We'd ask you to travel to our offices (at our expense) once a quarter so we can get everyone face-to-face for some bonding and planning. \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
