Job Title: Technical Lead\n\nLocation: UK or similar time zone (Remote OK)\n\nWe are easyMoney, part of the easy family of brands. Over 90 million people used easy goods and services in 2019.\nOur vision is to make better financial products available to everyone.\n\nWe are looking for a talented technical lead to help us extend our existing platform, assist with technical direction, build out microservices, and work on exciting new product offerings in the fintech space.\n\nYou will have the ability to work independently on full feature sets bringing product specifications to life. You will assist with taking requirements from management and formulating solutions, along with mentoring the other developers. Although this is a hands on lead role the ability to oversee development projects is a must.\n\nWe are a small team who are rapidly extending and improving our platform so your contributions will quickly get into real world use. A great opportunity to work in a startup environment but at the same time for a global brand.\n\nSkills required:\n\n- Strong PHP and/or NodeJS skills for backend development\n- Good understanding of ReactJS and/or VueJS for frontend development\n- Experience scaling MySQL and/or PostgreSQL, optimising queries, general debugging\n- Well documented API driven development (REST or GraphQL)\n- Experience leading development projects\n- Strong problem solving ability and able to articulate solutions clearly\n- Contribute to company coding standards and best practice\n- Identify risks and mitigate them\nIt would be beneficial if you have:\n- General interest in the fintech space\n- Experience or interest in React Native and/or Native Script\n- Experience in web development frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony and/or ExpressJS\n- Linux and cloud infrastructure administration with devops tools such as Terraform, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes\n- Amazon AWS knowledge\n- Test driven development advocate\nAbout easyMoney\neasyMoney is a financial products platform, with a vision to make better financial products available to everyone.
