\nRayka is looking for an experienced, well-rounded senior full-stack software engineer. You will be able to adapt to different tasks although the general realm will be related to back-end web including* creating new API end-points to support the mobile app\n\n\n* Enhancing/supporting our B2B corporate portals/environments\n\n* video processing processes including creating a web front-end to our back-end video scripts\n\n* Enhancing/supporting the web app's integration with our search service\n\n* optimizing existing API calls (scalability, caching, parallelism)\n\n\n\n\nA big plus is the ability to drop into React Native and integrate the new API calls using JavaScript. If you have been primarily a back-end web app developer, you will have the opportunity to advance your skills/experience in native mobile development.\n\nThere will be minimal web front-end work, but you are expected to be able to debug HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.\n\nAs this position is within an early stage startup, the role will require you to wear many hats when it comes to task diversity and will also require you to be a self-starter. You will be tasked with architecting most new code modules you create.\n\nOur current web back-end is mainly Ruby on Rails, ActiveRecord but we are open to other technologies.\n\nThis is a chance for a dedicated engineer to join a growing early stage startup with a smart, small team including a very accomplished group of active advisors (Uber, Plated, LendingTree, Untappd).
