*Our HQ is in Holmdel, NJ but open to Remote, US candidates \n\nThe Director of Real Green Software Engineering leads all software engineering activities for one of our flagship products in the Field Service Mgmt (FSM) Product Line that serves Lawn and Landscape customers.  In this highly-visible role, you will oversee all aspects of our software engineering process, from architecture, systems design, development, test and deployment.  You will report to the VP of Engineering for the FSM Product Line.\n \nWe are looking for a collaborative leader with great communications skills to understand our people, the business, the technologies we employ, the customer needs/demands and our collaborative, transparent WorkWave culture.  The engineering director will use that understanding to help develop our people, to identify and successfully implement improvements in our engineering processes, tools and architecture, to enable us to deliver on our key initiatives.  Although you will not be coding, as an engineering leader we will expect that you know the craft inside and out and still carry an engineer’s passion for designing and delivering great software solutions for our customers and establishing processes and metrics that improve our efficiency and quality.\n \nYou will be leading a number of functional development teams with Technical Leads responsible for Product Development, externally-facing API development, Sustaining, Tier 3 Support, Technology Evolution, and large-scale projects for key customers.
