We work with IT security professionals and ethical hackers to help them find security holes and vulnerabilities in systems before the bad guys do.
There is a lot of creativity and innovation involved in findings those holes. Unfortunately, itโs not all fun and games, in order for their โfindingsโ to be useful, they need to document their results, track progress, notify stakeholders, review mitigations implemented, verify, re-test, etc. There is a lot of overhead involved in the process.
Surprising no one, IT Security experts like the fun and games but donโt like the overhead/ back-office stuff. Thatโs where we come in, we exist to make the life of IT Security professionals easier, better, more enjoyable by making all of these overhead tasks easier and more painless.
We've been in business for 12 years, completely self-funded and profitable. Today, we serve over 440 Infosecurity teams across 37 different countries.

Nuvocargo is reinventing the $2 trillion freight forwarding industry. We are a digital-first freight forwarder using a mix of technology and exceptional service to help companies seamlessly move products across the Americas, starting with the biggest trade lane in the world: Mexico USA cross-border trucking.\n\n**The opportunity for you**\n\nAs a Nuvocargo software engineer, you will work with senior members of the engineering and product organization. You will help architect and implement solutions up and down the stack from our front end apps, to our backend API, to our databases and external services.\n\nYou will also be part of the landing team that will kickstart our engineering presence in Mexico City. As part of that team you'll help set a high quality bar for engineering and help us bring software best-practices from Silicon Valley to Mexico, making a meaningful impact to the startup ecosystem in Latin America.\n\nTogether with rest of the engineering, product, design organization, you will help shape the future of Nuvocargo's tech stack and engineering culture.\n\nOur current stack includes a combination of modern tooling and philosophies:\n\n- The front end interfaces include React (including Context and Hooks), Next.js and interactive interfaces via the WhatsApp Business API interfaces and emails.\n- Our React/Jamstack apps are continuously deployed on Netlify and the internal team workflows and interfaces use a mix of low-code and no-code solutions (think: Airtable, Retool and Zapier) for fast iteration combined with custom front ends for usability, precision and control on certain workflows.\n- The design and styling processes for our frontend interfaces include Zeplin.io and a component library hosted in React Styleguidist.\n- We use Rails API, a Postgres database and API integrations with multiple external services for back end development.\n- We have a strong culture of building quickly and iteratively, deploying features and releases to staging and production multiple times a day.\n\nThe products you build will be used by hundreds of Nuvocargo's customers, carriers and users across Nuvocargo's internal teams.\n\n**Who you are**\n\n- You love deploying features. One of your favorite feelings is shipping code and releasing new features to users. You know when to accrue technical debt in order to get a feature live. You strive for simple, readable code and you are averse to over-engineering the task at hand (YAGNI).\n- You have a track record of building great software in fast-growing companies. You have battle scars and wisdom from many years of building software in ever-changing environments. That wisdom comes both from projects that were incredibly successful and from projects that were abject failures.\n- You are passionate about making an impact in the Latin American startup ecosystem. You want to have a direct impact in establishing Nuvocargo's engineering org as one that bridges the gaps between Silicon Valley startups and the Latin American startup ecosystem.\n- 1 + 1 = 3. You strongly believe that collaboration, pairing, mentoring and raising the bar for everyone on the team makes the team greater than the sum of its parts.\n- You are a software craftsperson who believes in the journey to mastery. You believe in creating well crafted software, steadily adding value to stakeholders (as well as the engineering team and your future self) and collaborating with others with an open mind and flexible opinions. You believe that the journey of mastering the craft of software never ends, but you love being along for the ride.\n- You thrive in a low-friction, light-process environment. We are not a meeting-heavy org. You are self-motivated to write great software, release great products, pair with team members all without spending hours deliberating whether something is "3 points" or "5 points".\n- You are intellectually curious. You are probably a polyglot when it comes to programming languages (and natural languages), even if you don't have mastery over those other languages. You are always curious to dabble in a new library or framework or language and you analyze their high level pros and cons without even realizing it.\n- You are both a great communicator and listener. You are great at synthesizing inputs from different sources; you speak and write clearly, concisely, and with a structure that gets everyone on the same page when things feel messy.\n\n**Must haves**\n\nFluent in English.\nAt least three years of professional experience of developing and deploying production software.\nProfessional experience in at least one dynamically typed language (JavaScript, Ruby, Python etc).\nPersonally growth minded.\n\n**Nice to haves**\n\nProfessional experience at a software startup.\nExpertise in JavaScript and Ruby (React + Rails, even better!).\nExperience mentoring people technically.\nExperience building APIs.\n\n**What we offer**\n\n-A unique & fun culture at the intersection of the freight and technology industries as well as between the USA and Latin American work cultures.\n-Above market salary, benefits, and a robust employee stock ownership program to make you an owner and partner of the business.\n-Remote-first location strategy and allows you to work from wherever. Hybrid office / work from home model that allows for flexibility and collaboration time in our -Polanco / New York City office. Beautiful modern Polanco office space that is perfect for collaboration.\n-A chance to join the ground floor of a well-funded, fast-growing startup that is modernizing a trillion dollar industry critical to the global economy.\n\n**More about Nuvocargo**\n\nInternational logistics is the multi-trillion dollar connective tissue of the world economy, but it's been slow to leverage the power of technology; it's finally going digital, and Nuvocargo is playing a big role in driving this historic shift.\n\nWe believe that true expertise in logistics cannot be automated and is incredibly valuable; however, we think software and technology can give logistics professionals superpowers to help provide shippers with the best service, and make everyone's lives easier.\n\nWe're growing quickly, and are backed by some of the world's best investors from both Silicon Valley and Latin America such as Tiger Global Management, The Flexport Fund, QED (founders of $60B+ Capital One), NFX (Silicon Valley fund with $10bn in exits), the founders of Nubank ($30B+), Loft ($3B+), Ramp ($2B+), and Rappi ($5B+), Y Combinator (~1% acceptance rate, created $300bn worth of startups), and angels who have built, exited, or currently sit on the board of companies worth over $100 billion.\n\nOur DNA is comprised of four very distinct worlds and cultures: Silicon Valley, Logistics, Latin America, and USA. We are at the intersection of these worlds and laying the foundations for hyper-growth at one of the most tech-forward 3PL's in both the US and Mexico.\n\nRead more about us here: www.nuvocargo.com/about and feel free to reach out with any questions.\n\nWe look forward to working with you! \n\nPlease mention the word **RECONCILE** when applying to show you read the job post completely (#RMjE2LjczLjIxNi4zNw==). \nCircle is a global financial technology firm that enables businesses of all sizes to harness the power of stablecoins and public blockchains for payments, commerce and financial applications worldwide. Circle's platform has supported over 100 million transactions worth tens of billions of dollars, with nearly 10 million retail customers, over a thousand businesses, while storing and securing more than $5 billion in digital currency assets. Circle is also the creator of USD Coin (USDC), the fastest growing, regulated, fully-reserved stablecoin, which now stands at a 2+ billion market cap and is adding more than 100 million net new digital dollars in circulation every week. Today, Circle's transactional services, business accounts, and platform APIs are giving rise to a new generation of financial services and commerce applications that hold the promise of raising global economic prosperity for all through programmable internet commerce.\n\nWhat you’ll be part of:\n\nWith the mission “To raise global economic prosperity through programmable internet commerce,” Circle was founded on the belief that blockchains and digital currency will rewire the global economic system, creating a fundamentally more open, inclusive, efficient and integrated world economy. We envision a global economy where people and businesses everywhere can more freely connect and transact with each other with new technologies for digital money. We believe such a system can raise prosperity for people and companies everywhere.\n\nEngineering at Circle:\n\nIn 2020, Circle unveiled Circle APIs: a set of solutions and smarter technology to help businesses accept payments in a more global, scalable and efficient alternative to traditional banking rails (spoiler: we’re using USD Coin under the hood).\n\nOver the next 12 months, we’re going to rapidly grow our API customer base and enable even more businesses to easily integrate and benefit from the breakthrough of programmable money on the internet.\n\nIf you’re data-driven, interested in building something meaningful and would love to work in an entrepreneurial environment, we can’t wait to hear from you.\n\nYou will aspire to our four core values:\n\n\n* Multistakeholder - you have dedication and commitment to our customers, shareholders, employees and families and local communities.\n\n* Mindful - you seek to be respectful, an active listener and to pay attention to detail. \n\n* Driven by Excellence - you are driven by our mission and our passion for customer success which means you relentlessly pursue excellence, that you do not tolerate mediocrity and you work intensely to achieve your goals. \n\n* High Integrity - you seek open and honest communication, and you hold yourself to very high moral and ethical standards. You reject manipulation, dishonesty and intolerance.\n\n\n\n\nYour team is responsible for:\n\nDevelopers love using Circle APIs but our business partners rely on our client tools for their day-to-day insights and health of their billing stack. To that end, you’ll work on providing a seamless onboarding flow to help new business get their payments off the ground. And as a new business launches with Circle APIs, they use Circle’s dashboards (with your help!) to help manage and optimize their payments. You’ll be part of a small frontend team where you will play a key role in helping us create delightful customer experiences in a sound and scalable way.\n\nYou'll work on:\n\n\n* Challenging (and fun!) problems centered around digital currencies & their adoption. Did we mention that Circle launched a “programmable dollar” called USD Coin (or USDC)?\n\n* Building modern front-end applications with beautiful & consistent UI for our customers\n\n* Partner with our Product and Design teams to define the best UX for the tools we’re building\n\n* Experimentation, A/B tests and client feedback sessions to stay connected to our users and constantly provide delightful experiences\n\n* Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality \n\n\n\n\nYou'll bring to Circle:\n\n\n* 4+ years experience building user interfaces for complex applications with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.\n\n* Experience building responsive, component-based web apps with modern JavaScript front-end frameworks (e.g., Vue, React, Angular)\n\n* A keen sense of knowing when a feature “works” and when it can be improved.\n\n* A focus on coding standards and code quality -- a desire to have great test coverage to enable continuous delivery\n\n* Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate with remote teams, share ideas and present concepts effectively\n\n* Self-starter, you enjoy moving at a fast pace, shipping software that improves the user experience and constantly improving your work with little supervision\n\n\n\n\nWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at Circle. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status. \n\n#Salary and compensation\n

\nThe Opportunity\n\nOur frontend is implemented in React, structured as an API consumer of our Ruby on Rails backend. We're in the midst of a comprehensive redesign of the look and feel of our product, and we're seeing years of foundational work realized in developer productivity and value delivered to our users. Your opportunity is to join us in implementing design principles of usability, and discoverability, and in making good on our promise to enable our users to go on better rides more often. We've built a strong presence in the cycling community over the past 10+ years, and we're committed to supporting the core features and values important to our long term supporters. We do not require prior React experience; we are much more interested in candidates who are excited about what we're building, and who can't wait to help us improve products that make cycling better for our millions of users. That said, in order to excel in this position, we do expect multiple years of experience putting complex, functional code in front of users at scale. At this time, we are not accepting junior developers.\n\nTechnology that we regularly use:\n\n\n* React\n\n* Babel\n\n* Webpack\n\n* NodeJS\n\n* Figma\n\n* CircleCI for frontend CI\n\n* Jenkins for backend CI\n\n* GitHub for version control\n\n* Existing code is traditional Rails and HAML/SASS based templating, as well as Backbone and sundry other Javascript. All new frontend development is done in React.\n\n* OpenStreetMap rendering and routing stack (mapnik, postGIS, TileMill for style dev, GraphHopper based routing). Bonus points if you have map styling experience!\n\n\n\n\nBenefits\n\nWe offer a competitive salary as well as health, dental and vision insurance, and a 401k with a 10% match. You'll be equipped with a new Macbook Pro, iMac, or Linux machine, a standing desk and any other productivity tools that are needed. We strongly believe in testing our own software, and as a result are more than happy to help defray some of the costs of cycling, including offering a one-time new bicycle stipend.\n\nIn light of the global pandemic, Ride with GPS is working remotely and offers a stipend for setting up a home office. Moving forward, employees will be able to work from home indefinitely, and we are also monitoring health guidelines and hope to offer an option to work in a shared office environment when it is safe to do so.\n\nWhat's Next?\n\nWe are based in Portland, OR and encourage residents across Oregon and Washington to apply by emailing [email protected] with your resume and an overview of any work relevant to the position. Please include at least a paragraph explaining your relationship with cycling, and optionally a cover letter with your pronouns. We'll respond in a timely manner and move things forward for promising candidates.\n\nRide with GPS is committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming workplace for all members of our staff. We believe having a diverse team makes our product and our company better, and we are working to ensure our reality reflects those ideals. We invite applicants of any race, gender, sexual orientation, age, physical ability or limitation, religion, or background to apply and look forward to hearing from you. \n\n#Salary and compensation\n

Introduction\n\nWe are currently going through a very exciting evolution of our platform. We are moving from a traditional RoR architecture to a modern "single page application", exposing our application as a set of API's consumed by Ember to provide a rich interactive experience.\n\nTo date we have migrated our customer facing application to an Ember app, with great success. We are currently working on rebuilding the backend of our platform with the present focus been on our "Point of Sale". We are now looking to add to our team to accelerate the creation and rollout of this change across the remainder of our platform. This covers the CRM, reporting/analytics and configurations aspects of our backend.\n\nTo do this we are looking to hire new people to join our team. This person should be able to contribute across the entire development stack. However, we are looking for the new hire to have strong experience in building and rolling out SPAs. Ideally, with experience using Ember to do this.\n\nAbout Ticketsolve\n\nTicketsolve is a web based online and box-office ticketing platform. We currently have over 220 clients based throughout UK and Ireland. These clients are a mixture of Theatres, Arts and Music Festivals and specialty offerings such as Ice Skating and Christmas attractions. We are a consistently profitable company with healthy year on year growth. The new features and abilities we are adding to Ticketsolve puts in a place to deliver strong growth in the coming years.\n\nSkills & Requirements\n\n- 3+ years experience developing web applications\n- Experience with programming Javascript preferred with role focused on Ember based development. Ruby a huge bonus but good programmers always welcomed as well\n- Strong understanding of front-end technologies: JavaScript, HTML5, SASS, Ember preferred \n- Strong programming skills with focus on clean design, well refactored code and automated testing \n- Comfortable working as part of a remote team\n- Related to remote working a working knowledge of English is required\n\nTechnologies we use\n\n- Ruby on Rails is our primary server framework evolving towards pure API server\n- Ember is our primary front end development framework\n- JSONAPI::Resources, http://jsonapi-resources.com/, is how we are building our APIโs\n- MySQL / Redis / Elastic are our primary storage engines\n- All our servers are Ubuntu based managed through CHEF\n- Deployed on AWS using terraform for managing infrastructure\n- GitHub for source code management and process support\n- Travis for continuous integration\n\nHow we work\n\nWe run a lightweight process that focuses on feature based delivery on a weekly basis. Our co-ordination and communication is largely through daily 'catch-up meetings' and use of appropriate tools such as Trello for backlog management, Slack for communication and Git(GitHub) for source control and feature deployment through PR's and Milestones.\n\nFrom a coding perspective we place a strong emphasis on clean, minimal, well refactored code backed up by strong suite of automated tests. We make use of peer review for all design and development work.\n\nIn general we strive for an approach that empowers and trusts individuals to 'do the right thing' and as a team we try and keep each other true to this.\n\nRemote working\n\nOur development team works as a remote team with members in Berlin, Malmรถ, Barcelona, Singapore and Taiwan. Our wider organisation has people based in United Kingdom and Dublin. Dublin is our headquarters and only office space - with core Support team and Sales and Marketing team.\n\nRemote working has become part of our company DNA. We believe that it offers a lot of advantages to both Ticketsolve and employees. We expect that our new hires will likely be remote working. This means that you should be comfortable working as part of a remote team. If this is new to you, don't worry, it was for us at the beginning as well. We now have lots of experience helping people settle in - so keep an open mind and imagine a working day with no daily commute.\n\nImportant to note that timezones are a consideration for us with remote working. Our experience is that European and Asian time zones are preferable, as it allows for collaboration at reasonable times. \n\nPlease mention the words **MANSION BANNER USELESS** when applying to show you read the job post completely (#RMjE2LjczLjIxNi4zNw==).
