Remote QA Automation Engineer Marketing Agency
Project Description\n\nString experience with automated testing Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver Web services and data testing experience is important Background in Java or similar with a strong understanding of OO development concepts Understanding of continuous delivery process.\nResponsibilities\n\n\nCreate and maintain test automation frameworks using software development methodologies and defined technologies taking into consideration processes as CI/CD and multiple environments.\n\nCreate and maintain non-functional tests (ADA, security, performance, etc.).\n\nWork across teams under agile methodologies participating under the QA role actively, identifying requirements and analyzing design specifications with the team and communicating in English with technical and non-technical members.\n\nPerform QA technical testing tasks like API and database testing interpreting queries and database tables relations\nCreate and track bugs/defects.\n\nCreate manual test scenarios for automation test cases, identifying and prioritizing the ones who are most suitable for automation testing to achieve the best coverage.\n\nSending status reports informing about status of the testing process, basic metrics, results of tests and raising relevant priority issues and risks.\n\nCreate level of effort- LOE estimates.\n\nEnsure content and structure of testing artifacts is documented and maintained using the best practices for quality assurance automation solutions.\n\nBe receptive on learning about new technologies and self-driven to stay on top of the QA trending, to apply them on projects or furtherly participate in initiatives as mentoring and knowledge transfer sessions with the team.\n\nResearch and recommend the most effective technologies, approaches and strategies for QA Automation implementation across projects.\n\nPrioritize necessary tasks and tests for successful testing executions.\n\nIdentify and inform effectively about potential quality issues and risks on projects.\n\nProvide mentoring and guidance for team members\n\n\n\nRequirements\n\n\n3-5 years of related QA experience\n\n4-6 years of QA Automation experience\n\nProficiency providing maintenance and executing automated test cases\n\nExpertise in software engineering concepts for products design, development principles and agile methodologies\n\nExperience with databases environments\n\nExperience with CI/CD implementations\n\nExperience with QA Automation strategies, approaches and methodologies for mobile, back-end as API and front-end technologies\n\nExperience with project and bug tracking tools as Jira\n\nExperience with tasks estimation process LOE and prioritization\n\nProficiency with functional testing and experience with non-functional testing\n\nExpertise creating and maintaining QA documentation like test plans, test cases and status reports and collecting metrics\n\nExperience being receptive to learn and work with new technologies\n\nExperience on mentoring of resources\n\nStrong Analytical and problem-solving oriented skills\n\n\nNice to have:\n\nAbility to be assertive in communication\n\nISTQB Foundation or related certification\n\nDesirable knowledge on JavaScript\n\nDesirable experience with test case management tools as Zephyr, Spira test or Xray\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRewards\n\n\nPayment in USD.\n\nFree credentials for e-learning platforms.\n\nRemote workshops & activities.\n\nPTOs (5 days every six months, cumulative up to 10 days)\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
