You are awesome at working independently and self-sufficient, you are great at researching using Google and AI tools extensively to find the infos you need & to learn.
You could, in theory, build functional websites from scratch without relying on AI or programming tools.
You can write code from scratch using your brain, without AI, and just by using a text editor (if need be).
Coding means actually writing manual code for you, not copy'ing & paste'ing code snippets that you found on the web. To you, coding also doesn't mean dragging objects from A to B in some visual "programming" tool.
In other words, you're a real programmer!
Your skills:
Perfect English & typing proficiency. No typos, no grammar mistakes.
You can create Android apps from scratch, from start to finish, by yourself.
You can handle the Linux shell and you can navigate through a Linux-based filesystem using just command line tools.
You're a master of the programming language(s) of your choice that allow you to create web-projects (PHP, Python, whatever).
You are very good at SQL, you understand the inner workings of e.g. MySQL and thus you know what makes queries slow and what makes them fast.
All of this requires that you already have plenty of experience, if you are new to all of this or if you think AI will be able to handle these requirements for you, then you are not the right candidate.

About The Role
Our infrastructure as code library and platform team delivers an end-to-end, best-practices infrastructure on AWS in just days, all as a product. In this role, you’ll collaborate with other senior-level engineers to define the next generation of AWS and DevOps best practices, codify them for use by thousands of engineers, and design a next-level experience for implementing, operating and understanding them.
What You'll Work On
Build a better DevOps experience. We have a unique product that generates complete, multi-account AWS architectures for Terraform and Terragrunt in just a few hours using a collection of internal Golang tools. Help us take this to the next level by using that product to deliver prod architectures directly to customers, and then leveraging their feedback for improvements. Better yet, help us get to the point where the entire experience is completely automated or self-service.
Codify AWS and Terraform best practices. Customers look to Gruntwork to share the best way to launch on AWS. Discover AWS and Terraform best practices, and then codify them as repeatable patterns that Gruntwork customers can pull off the shelf.
Integrate with the Gruntwork platform. Integrate your product work with our company-wide platform, which consists of a REST API (Next.js/Typescript), a web-based single-page app (Next.js/React/Typescript, Tailwind), and a first-class CLI tool (Go).
Build out the Infrastructure as Code Library. Create and maintain reusable infrastructure modules for a variety of infrastructure (e.g., EKS, ECS, RDS, VPC, Lambda, EC2, S3, ElastiCache, etc.), using a variety of tools (e.g., Terraform, Go, Python, Bash, Docker, Packer, etc.) on AWS.

Compatible Time Zones
You'll be working with a team in the US time zones, so you can be located in almost any country as long as your time zone is no further west than Los Angeles (GMT-8/GMT-7) and no further east than New York (GMT-5/GMT-4). Benefits

Location Independent, Above-Market Salary. To reduce bias and increase transparency, we compute all salaries using formulas. The formula factors in your title and uses a multiplier to produce a result that's above market for that title. Our salaries are location independent.

\nMeridian Business Centers operates fifteen business centers in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and Houston that provide all-inclusive office suites, meeting rooms, and virtual offices. We're looking for a full stack engineer to join our Technology Team to develop new web apps and support/improve upon existing solutions.\n\n\nSkills & Requirements\n\n\nYour Skills and Expertise:\n\n\n* Solid software development and front-end design experience. We want our apps to work well and look good!\n\n* A minimum of two (2) years of experience using Node.js, HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript, Git, REST, JSON, web sockets, and PostgreSQL.\n\n* Experience with MVC architectures.\n\n* Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Vue.js or AngularJS.\n\n* Strong written/verbal communication and time management skills. You'll be working remotely so keeping yourself motivated and staying in touch will be key to your success.\n\n* Strong ability to work individually or with a small team.\n\n* Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a self starter.\n\n\n\n\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\n\n\n* Getting a lot of experience solving real world problems.\n\n* You'll be a key player in designing and coding new and existing web-based software applications used internally by our employees, and externally by our clients.\n\n* Helping generate ideas on how to improve our client's experience and execute on them.\n\n* Working with other members on our Technology Team to integrate several systems and services, such as providing end-user control to our voice platform and integrating SIP functionality into a web application.\n\n\n\n\nThe Ideal Candidate:\n\n\n* Experience with Laravel, Vue.js, and AngularJS\n\n* Experience with AWS, DigitalOcean, and Heroku.\n\n* Experience using Bootstrap, LESS and/or Sass\n\n* Have a passion for what you do, and spend time learning not because you have to, but because you want to.\n\n* Have some working knowledge of Linux and databases. We'll leverage Heroku a lot, but some things will need to run locally. \n\n\n\n\n\nThe Application Process\nWe want to test your mettle. So - we ask that you submit a pull request to our GitHub project of a small sample app that does the following:\n\n\n* Uses Bootstrap with either AngularJS or Vue.js\n\n* Create a single page web app that pulls information from a REST API and displays it to the user.
