Flightradar24 is looking for an experienced Front-end Developer with extensive JavaScript development experience. You will play an important role in modernizing and developing the Flightradar24 website, and your work will improve the experience of millions of users every day.\n\n## What you’ll do\n\n* Collaborate with a small team of developers and product owners on JavaScript and web development\n* Be a lead contributor to the work on modernizing our website and developing and maintaining a new modern lightweight JavaScript layer\n* Deliver modern, testable and maintainable code\n* Develop features in website projects, using current web technologies including for example JavaScript / ES6, HTML5, CSS3, and Vue.js\n* Participate in development and maintenance of Node.js APIs supporting the website and API services\n* Participate in knowledge sharing and mentoring for other developers in your team\n\n## Who you are\n\n* At least 4 years experience of modern web development\n* Knowledge of modern and standards-compliant JavaScript development, i.e. ES6 and above\n* Knowledge of current web technologies including JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js, HTML5, CSS3, and tools like Webpack and Gulp\n* Knowledge of responsive design practices, delivered cleanly and consistently across a wide variety of platforms, browsers and devices\n* Natural focus on high standards, quality, testing and unit testing, and tools like Karma, Jasmine and/or Jest\n* Previous work experience interacting with APIs through AJAX/JSON, and ideally also Google Maps APIs or APIs of other map providers\n* Familiarity with, or interest in, automated testing, continuous integration, and cloud deployment\n* Experience with high-performance web delivery, optimizing front-end code, page-load performance and caching is a strong plus\n* Experience in developing REST APIs in Node.js and/or modern PHP development is meriting but not a requirement\n* Strong written and spoken English\n* *Note that this is a fully remote position, but we would like you be located within a 2-hour time difference from Sweden's timezone (CET/CEST) to align your working hours with the rest of the team.*\n\n## About Flightradar24\n\nWith over 2 million daily users, Flightradar24 is the world’s most popular flight tracking service and our apps regularly top the App Store and Google Play charts.
