test automation framework and scripts serving various\nphases of testing platform/ applications having Mobile, Web and Desktop clients running on\nWindows, Mac OS and Linux\n● Evangelize best practices in code health, testing, and maintainability\n● Contribute to most of the following areas: Mobile, Web & Desktop app testing, script/tool\ngeneration, test automation, Continuous Integration / Delivery (CI/CD), test plan generation,\ndocumentation, problem solving/analysis, troubleshooting complex issues, and bug/defect\ntracking and reporting\n● Perform extensive manual and automated functionality, integration, regression,\ninteroperability and end-to-end system testing\n● Evaluate and integrate open source & proprietary tools/libraries to the existing automation\n● Work closely with Engineering and Operations teams to ensure that the highest quality\nsoftware is deployed safely and quickly\n● Adhere to 8x8 policies, processes and standards\n● Troubleshoot, analyze, and isolate defects and report them to a bug tracking database (JIRA)\n● Flexible in closely working with geo dispersed teams in local, India and European timezones\non test strategy, debugging, training, sprint planning and scrum meetings\n● Coordinate release testing and automation activities with offshore team in India\n \nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\n● BS or MS in CS / EE / CE or equivalent related work experience\n● Minimum 7 years of proven experience with building test automation for mobile web and\ndesktop apps and REST API’s\n● 5+ years of experience with test automation development using Java & Python, Junit, TestNG,\nSelenium WebDriver, Cucumber, REST-Assured and Appium from the ground up\n● Hands-on experience building CI automation pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes\n● Experience working with public cloud (OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP)\n● Experience with engineering tools such as Git, JIRA, TestRail, Confluence\n● Working knowledge with most of the following: VoIP (SIP, RTP), web applications, mobile\napplications (iOS and Android), backend applications, relational (SQL) and nonrelational\n(NoSQL) databases, testing client/server architectures, computer networking concepts
