Were looking for someone to join our team to build a fast and rich set of internal web applications for data analysis and administration purposes.\nResponsibilities:\n* \nDesign and implement REST APIs for use with different apps\n* \nWrite and maintain unit tests for these APIs\n* \nWrite Spark stream processing job or post processing batch job to pre-calculate data views\n* \nWork with the DevOps team to define, build and maintain deployment infrastructure needed for the internal applications\n* \nContribute to weekly feature releases and code reviews\n\n\nRequirements:\n* \nBS in Computer Science or equivalent\n* \nMinimum 2 years core Java programming experience\n* \nStrong understanding of OOP design principles (loose coupling, encapsulation, etc.)\n* \nKnowledge of backend paradigms (multithreading, caching, performance tuning)\n* \nExperience with MySQL, Apache/tomcat, Hibernate\n* \nPassion for keeping up with new technologies and industry trends\n\n\nBonus:\n* \nExperience with no-sql databases (Cassandra and/or MongoDB preferred)\n* \nExperience with Javascript/Front-end technologies and super bonus for AngularJS\n* \nExperience with writing Spark jobs (in Scala, extra points)\n\n\nTo apply, please submit a resume and a description about why you would be a good fit for the position.
