We are looking for experienced software engineers to build and enhance leading-edge web and mobile applications. Using the latest tools and technologies in Java and Javascript, you will have the opportunity to build front-end and back-end components. Your work will utilize the Spring framework, Spring-MVC, Node.JS, Web Sockets, Apache Commons, and various other libraries and tools. We are looking for a talented full-stack Developer to work on the OpsCenter Core team. This position will be located anywhere in the US.\n\nOpsCenter, a world-class monitoring and management solution for Apache Cassandra and DataStax Enterprise Server, is the tool of choice for anyone using Apache Cassandra or DataStax Enterprise. Its web-based architecture is designed to improve admin productivity in areas including monitoring and advanced task automation, whether your cluster has 10 nodes or 1,000 nodes. \n\nThe OpsCenter codebase currently consists of Python, Clojure, and JavaScript. Familiarity with these languages is important, but even more important is the passion and ability to work on any part of an application and ability to learn and adapt quickly as the application and technologies underneath evolve.\n\n\nEssential Job Functions:\n\n\n\n* \n\nImproving OpsCenter through great code and attention to user experience\n\n\n* \n\nHelp maintain and drive improvements to the core architecture of OpsCenter\n\n\n* \n\nContributing to technical decisions, and making many of your own\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJob Requirements:\n\n\n* \n\n5+ years programming experience\n\n\n* \n\nAdvanced Python and/or Clojure experience\n\n\n* \n\nComfortable in *nix environments\n\n\n* \n\nNoSQL DB experience\n\n\n* \n\nExperience building distributed systems\n\n\n* \n\nSelf-driven, independent, and able to learn quickly\n\n\n* \n\nComfortable working on distributed, remote teams\n\n\n\n\n\n\n* \n\nCassandra experience\n\n\n* \n\nHaving worked with database monitoring and management tools\n\n\n* \n\nJavaScript programming experience\n\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
