Our TV series, The Polos, is broadcast worldwide, including Discovery Family (USA), NatGeo (LatAm), YouKu (China) and Nickelodeon (India). \n\n\n**The role: **\n\nWe are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Senior Full-stack Engineer to join our team. MarcoPolo is entering a new phase of growth, and this is a unique opportunity to join a proven and maturing business and technology team, as a key member of the development team. \n\nThe ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of commercial experience in developing complex applications using different programming code languages and frameworks both on front-end and back-end. The right candidate will be a start-up ready team player, willing to push the bar to achieve ambitious targets and not afraid to face new challenges. Hungry to learn and share his/her knowledge, passionate about programming and new technologies. \n\n**Required skill set: **\n* Strong development background in Java Spring Boot (min version 8) \n* Strong experience in Docker and CDI\n* Relational database design and optimization with SQL and Mysql \n* Deep knowledge of AWS infrastructure, especially Lambda and Dynamo DB\n* Experience of developing serverless architecture and high availability architectures \n* Experience of Node.js\n* Experience of Typescript, Javascript\n* Experience of Angular, React or Vue.js\n* Experience of web component programming for web products \n* Experience of SCSS, CSS\n* Deep understanding of web security and content protection\n* Strong knowledge of APIs\n* Experience of SSO \n* Great knowledge of good programming principles\n* Good working practices of producing clear and up-to-date documentation\n* Experience of managing junior developers \n\n\n**Nice to have:**\n* Experience of video streaming architecture and products \n* Experience of performance optimization\n* Experience in mobile applications (ideally Unity) \n* Experience of GraphQL, ElasticSearch and new way of serving data to multiple clients \n\n**Package: **\nCompetitive salary based on experience, with benefits/incentives to be discussed. \nWe want to recruit the best talent for the next phase of company growth.
