Serving on the Executive Team, you co-own company strategy and leadership, and have analytical mind and solve problems quickly.\n\n\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\n\n\n* Create and articulate the company’s product vision and product road map\n\n* Recruit, develop and retain top engineering talent\n\n* Lead the engineering process, determining when to use native, when to use web, or when to use a combination\n\n* Lead the delivery of high-quality, on-time mobile product improvements and features ensuring high customer satisfaction\n\n* Lead execution of technology partnerships, relationships, etc.\n\n* Identify competitive services and opportunities for innovation\n\n* Identify technology trends and evolving social behavior that influence the business\n\n* Anticipate and address major technology changes\n\n* Work with product team to identify requirements and features feasibility\n\n* Develop proprietary tools based on business needs\n\n* Identify and prioritize development initiatives\n\n* Set and meet aggressive timetables\n\n* Direct development and execution of enterprise-wide information security plan\n\n* Direct and execute an enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plan\n\n* Build and manage internal and external teams\n\n* Oversee infrastructure development and deployment; Our client is leading the development effort of a web-based data visualization tool for the Intelligence Community. The existing system is a high-powered, fat-client application that crunches massive amounts of geospatial imagery for analysts. The customer wants to migrate all of this functionality into a web application, and has given our client 6 months to build a functional prototype. At the end of this 6 month prototype effort, the government is expected to award a 4 to 5 year contract to release the prototype enterprise wide.\n\nThe development team is led by an experienced software engineer who is passionate about new technologies - a rare personality trait in the federal sector.
