The product engineering team is responsible for imagining, designing, developing and releasing innovative messaging solutions that are customisable and built to be secure, accessible, usable and scalable.\n\nUnder the direction of the Director, Product and lead software engineer, as a Software Engineer you are responsible for the development, troubleshooting and maintenance of the Atmail product suite in line with the product road map. Including new features, bug fixes and client-specific customisations.\n\nSoftware Engineers are also responsible for maintaining high quality documentation and implementation of test cases to QA standards. Additionally, to proactively engage in skills-sharing across the team; make recommendations to improve current business processes and business rules and to comply with company engineering policy.\n\nAs a JavaScript specialist, you will initially be assigned to work on front-end development (customer facing, in browser applications),using your awesome AJAX skills to develop performant, and scalable applications.\n\nThe business is completely focused on client satisfaction, so communication and the ability to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders is essential.\n\nThe successful candidate must have outstanding English communication skills and be either an Australian citizen or authorised to work in Australia.\n\nIdeally you will have:\n\n- Advanced JavaScript Skills.\n- Extensive experience with JavaScript frameworks, such as jQuery, Backbone.js, Angular.js and/or React.\n- Extensive experience with AJAX, CSS and HTML.\n- A degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.\n- Industry Certifications.\n\n\nThe following will be well regarded:\n\n- Five or more yearsโ experience as a software developer.\n- Experience working with a development team.\n- Experience with front-end design and methodologies.\n- Experience with the back-end.\n- Demonstrated knowledge of messaging platforms.\n- Experience in troubleshooting software problems.\n- Demonstrated strong documentation skills.\n- Effective time management and task prioritisation skills.\n\n\nAtmail is an equal opportunity Employer.\n\nExtra tags: javascript \n\nPlease mention the words **SWIFT FLOOR SIGN** when applying to show you read the job post completely (#RMjE2LjczLjIxNi4xNDY=).
