\nScalable Path is looking for a Senior Full-stack PHP/React/MySQL Developer to join the team and work on a client project. This is a remote, full-time position.\n\n\nCLIENT COMPANY DESCRIPTION:\n\nThe company is a forerunner in healthcare job services including healthcare related job search, hiring statistics, and more. This is not a startup but a well-established company with decades of experience across the team.\n\n\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nYour primary responsibility will be building a new product from scratch in Laravel and React. This product will leverage an existing product's models, data structures and possibly a small number of services but the website and application logic will be all new. \n\n\nIn addition to building the new product, you will also need to maintain the existing product which is in Laravel and Angular 1 with heavy use of ElasticSearch. The amount of work to be done here will be minor compared to the work ahead on the new product.\n\n\nRELATIONSHIPS - WHO YOU'LL BE WORKING WITH:\n\nYou will report directly to the Product Owner. The development team is currently just one other person but we are looking to grow this team to 4-5 total developers in the near future. There is an existing daily meeting at 9:30am America/Los Angeles (-08:00) PST.\n\n\nREQUIRED SKILLS:\n\n- Superb Laravel experience\n\n- Strong React experience\n\n- Strong CSS / SASS experience\n\n- Strong MySQL experience with large data sets\n\n- Strong work ethos; able to work self-guided and on a team\n\n- Experience with ElasticSearch or some other search engine\n\n- Excellent written and spoken English skills\n\n- Experience working remotely using Scrum \n\n- Able to see the bigger picture when in the weeds on a singular task\n\n\nDESIRED (NICE-TO-HAVE) SKILLS:\n\n- Experience with Angular 1 \n\n- Experience with React Native\n\n- Experience with DevOps on AWS\n\n- Experience with Docker\n\n\n\n\n\nSTART DATE:\n\nAs soon as possible.\n\n\nEXPECTED CONTRACT DURATION:\n\nOngoing\n\n\nHOURLY RATE:\n\nThe pay rate for this role is from $30 to $45 USD per hour, depending on experience and capability.\n\n\nNOTES:\n\nThe daily meeting is subject to change as the team grows. \n\n#Salary and compensation\n

We have high fidelity mockups that need to be converted into working software. This position would be responsible for working with the Lead Front-end Developer and the existing team with ReactJS/Redux. This is a full-time position and we would love someone to be vested in the on going development of this and future projects.\n\nAbout the current application:\n\nAllegory is built primarily in Ruby-on Rails. It is a robust, document-heavy application using a PostgreSQL database. OCR is built into our document pipeline. For search, we use Elastic Search. Our main application is cloud-based, hosted on Amazon AWS, but in some cases, we have deployed and will deploy on-prem. We practice test-driven development, using RSpec and a continuous integration server.
