You'll notice that prior teaching experience isn't a prerequisite to being an Instructor. If you bring knowledge, strong communication, and a positive energy to the classroom, you're going to help students along their transformative path to a successful and rewarding career. \n\nOur Blended Online program is a mixture of asynchronous and live instruction. Students in the Blended Online program access modules through Canvas, and unlock these modules as they progress through the class. Roughly 80% of the content each week is completed by the students asynchronously. This program is ideal for individuals who cannot commit to the traditional 14-hour a week time commitment of our in-person/Live Online modalities.\n\nCheck out the program details here.\n\nSkills & Requirements\n\n\nAt least 4-5 years of data analytics experience (or equivalent)\n\nBachelor's Degree\n\nBackground in:\n\n\n\n\n\nAdvanced Statistics with Data Analytics with Microsoft Excel and Python, Numpy, Pandas, and Matplotlib\n\nDatabases like SQL and MongoDB\n\nData Visualization using Javascript, D3, or Tableau\n\nHadoop and Machine Learning\n\n\n\n\n\nMust have a laptop, webcam, at least one additional monitor, microphone/headset, and reliable internet connection.\n\nExperience with Zoom video conferencing preferred.\n\n\n\n\n \n\nWhat You Will Do:\n\n\nLead lectures and educational product management activities\n\nAnswer students’ questions during class sessions\n\nUtilize Zoom’s “breakout-rooms” feature during activities and in-class projects to assist the students, as needed\n\nUpload class content to the student facing github/gitlab repository\n\nEnsure that homework is graded on-time, and occasionally assist with grading\n\nProvide empathy, support, and encouragement to students as they go through a life-changing experience\n\n\n\n\nLogistics:\n\n\n24-week programs\n\n100% remote\n\nApproximately 5 hours of total time commitment per week split between two weekday evening sessions held on either Mondays & Wednesdays or Tuesdays & Thursdays\n\n\n\n\nOther Perks:\n\n\nMaintain your current career while teaching\n\nPaid Sick and Safe Leave\n\nAccess to Wellness and Educational Resources\n\n20% Discount on 2U Short Courses\n\nAccess to LinkedIn Learning\n\nHone your own skills by teaching and mentoring others\n\nExpand your network by joining the thousands of industry professionals who make up our Instructional Staff\n\nExperience the gratitude and fulfillment that comes along with teaching and giving back to the tech community\n\n\n\n\nHourly salary only: In Colorado, the anticipated hourly salary for this role is $43.11 - $45.84/hr.
