\nAbout the role\n\nChime is looking for a Processor Operations Manager to join the Processor and Platform Operations team to operate our core platform capabilities, including card payment processing systems, ACH and other interbank processing and reconciliation systems. The Processor and Platform team’s mission is to empower the development of a member-obsessed Chime experience by strengthening and expanding our proprietary Financial Platform - an operating system for processing all forms of money movement and developing financial software. You will help drive efficiency to ensure these financial capabilities are able to deliver on their 24x7 promise. This position will report to the Director of Processor and Platform Operations.\n\nThe base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $96,800 and up to $131,800. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.\n\nIn this role you can expect to\n\n\n* Join a new team of transaction operations managers \n\n* Contribute to the department’s development and implementation of best practices in the areas of payment systems processing, reconciliation operations, and operational policies & procedures\n\n* Develop and implement reconciliation models for ensuring accurate processing and settlement\n\n* Evaluate processing controls for completeness and accuracy\n\n* Provide operational expertise towards diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Chime’s core banking solutions, payment processing, reconciliation and settlement activities\n\n* Use data to monitor processing performance and identify areas of improvement\n\n* Drive continuous improvement and operational resiliency\n\n* Promote tooling solutions that address internal reporting requirements \n\n* Collaborate cross-functionally with technical and product leaders on our platform teams to set strategic priorities that reduce operational risk and improve efficiency, productivity, and performance\n\n* Partner with internal and external teams to ensure compliance with regulatory, audit and payment network requirements\n\n* Use your subject matter expertise and experience to help influence how things are done and improve efficiency & efficacy\n\n* Advocate for change and innovation across the enterprise \n\n\n\n\nTo thrive in this role, you have\n\n\n* 3+ years in bank and/or payment operations with a broad understanding of operations; including accounting, funds flow, settlement, processing, etc. \n\n* An understanding of the end-to-end payments ecosystem, including payment methods, card networks, issuer processing, and the regulatory environment\n\n* An understanding of ACH originations, returns, settlements and everything in between, AAP certification is a huge plus\n\n* Familiarity with network operations including Visa, Mastercard, PLUS, and Star, as well as with network vendors that facilitate AFT/OCT payments and other forms of card-based money movement\n\n* Strong analytical and problem solving skills\n\n* Extensive experience with Google Office (Sheets, Docs and Slides), analytics platforms (Looker, Snowflake), SQL, core banking systems and related products.\n\n* Experience working cross functionally with Product, Accounting, Compliance, Legal, Risk & Engineering to identify, evaluate and size opportunities and prioritize work\n\n* Experience driving continuous improvement projects, where you’ve applied deep knowledge to uncover and execute both short term and long term optimizations\n\n* A desire to create new processes and are comfortable with ambiguity\n\n* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment\n\n* Strong team player attributes and are an effective collaborator\n\n* A member obsessed mindset, eager to learn and improve the user experience\n\n* The drive to deploy processes and playbooks so that we can all sleep well at night or make suggestions to improve them so we can all sleep even better at night\n\n* A curious and creative problem solving ability - can facilitate resolution of issues in a timely manner by working cross-functionally with product and engineering teams\n\n* Excellent business acumen, communication skills and a self-starting attitude\n\n\n\n\nA little about us\n\nAt Chime, we believe that everyone can achieve financial progress. \n \n\nPOSITION OVERVIEW\n\nXapo’s Finance function manages the group’s Balance Sheet, maintaining a balanced structure within an  established risk framework. The Liquidity Management Desk manages and invests the liquidity resources of the  Group and initiates all relevant treasury operations across payment networks, FX and derivative markets. All  activities of the Liquidity Management Desk must be performed within an established treasury risk framework  to monitor and optimize capital, credit, liquidity and market risk exposures.\n\nAs Treasury Manager you will be responsible to support the global cash and FX management of Xapo. This will  primarily include actively monitoring treasury positions and payment flows, ensuring that there is sufficient  liquidity to facilitate settlement obligations, whilst minimizing intraday liquidity usage. The Treasury Manager  will be working closely with other teams, such as the Dealing and Trading Desk and the Treasury Risk team to  ensure all cash resources of the Group are efficiently utilized and remain within established policies and limits.  The Treasury Manager will ensure all nostro positions at other financial institutions are funded whilst surplus liquidity is  deployed to yield the highest possible return.  The job requires a professional, with competent treasury knowledge (cash management, liquidity and FX),  excellent communication and organizational skills to manage the global cash management for the Group across  various time-zones. The candidate will also support other treasury areas with emphasis on the design,  development and implementation of treasury management systems and controls within scope.  \n\nRESPONSIBILITIES\n\n\n* In-depth and broad involvement in all treasury areas focusing on cash and liquidity management, cash  flow forecasting, and FX management  \n\n* perform end-to-end process of transactions concluded for treasury cash management and FX dealing  \n\n* Perform currency cash forecasting with cash ladders and execute FX hedging strategies  \n\n* Front line interaction with a network of key FI partners and FX brokers  \n\n* Review and improve efficiency of the Group’s global cash management to allow for prompt  management of surplus funds.
