In addition to that, we take care of the Developer Experience through documentation, SDKs, examples and other developer-facing tools.\n\n\n* Lead the architecture, design and implementation of Backend services and APIs powering Belvo FinTech infrastructure.\n\n* Coordinate technical execution with other team members. Envision solutions collaboratively and coordinate their execution as a team, addressing technical and coordination issues.\n\n* Mentor other engineers and be a force multiplier.\n\n* Build excellent documentation, SDKs, client libraries. Continuously improve the “developer experience” of Belvo’s platform\n\n* Be customer-focused, think as a user of our APIs. Proactively tackle potential improvements and customer pain points.\n\n* Carefully manage API retro compatibility, document API changes and implement deprecation plans\n\n* Implement automated quality assurance and monitoring modules \n\n\n\n\n\n\nYou can be part of the gang if:\n\n\n* 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, of which 2+ as a tech lead\n\n* Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs\n\n* Strong professional experience with Python and Django.\n\n* Willingness to solve challenging problems\n \n\n\n\n\nAmazing if:\n\n\n* Fintech and SaaS past experience\n\n* Relevant programming knowledge in other languages such as Javascript, Java, PHP, Ruby or Go.\n\n* Experience building large-scale platforms with global reach.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur tech stack:\n\n\n* We’re building our platform using modern technologies, putting the focus on reliability and long-term maintainability\n\n* We primarily use Python on the backend. \nThis is a full time remote position. All of our current Development Team is in Asia or Europe that’s why we prefer to hire people from Europe and Asia because of team collaboration.\n\nYou will be working mostly on flexible hours although you will need to attend the team meeting which is at approximately 8:30am GMT and work for at least 3 hours after this time. This is 3:30am to 6:30am New York time, so you can see that it is unlikely , although not impossible, that we will hire in North or South America.\n\nYou will be responsible for the deployment and maintenance of a cloud-based multi tenant SaaS solution.
