We are looking for engineers who can not only tackle technical problems, but also collaborate and evangelize best practices across teams. We value engineers who can bring fresh ideas and are willing to own solving problems all the way to a solution. \n\nJob Specs:\n\n\n* Architecting and implementing solutions at the core of our application\n\n* Working closely with other members of development team, including fullstack, front-end, data and infrastructure engineers\n\n* Writing and deploying clean, tested and well-documented code\n\n* Contributing ideas for new features and proactively identifying areas for improvement\n\n* Mentoring other members of the team via code reviews and collaborative sessions\n\n\n\n\nQualifications: \n\n\n* 3+ years backend experience with Node.js \n\n* Experience with Amazon Web Services, Azure, or other cloud server platforms\n\n* Experience with NoSQL such as MongoDB; relational database systems like MySQL and PostgreSQL and in-memory data storage tools such as Redis\n\n* Familiarity with React, Next.js, Typescript, styled-components. Although this position will be mainly focused on the backend, strong JS, HTML, CSS skills are a plus.\n\n* Experience with continuous integration and automated testing tools and methodologies \n\n* Experience with JS build tools such as grunt.js, gulp and similar alternatives\n\n* Experience with serverless architecture and microservices.\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n

We are looking for an outstanding, highly motivated Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our team in either Palo Alto, CA or NYC (SOHO). The majority of the work is LAMP stack build on AWS.\n\nThe ideal profile is someone who has experience building large-scale web sites and enjoys collaborating with small-sized teams. You can write high quality code, have excellent communication skills, love solving complex problems, and are also looking to provide a voice in product design and direction.\n\nDesired skills & expertise:\n- Must be experienced with MySQL and NoSQL systems. Ideally, will have experience with most Amazon Web Services tools.\n- Ability to write modular / MVC / high-quality code (PHP and JS primarily).\n- 3+ years of experience in design & development of commercial web applications. Experience in design implementation of large scale, high traffic consumer-facing portals is a huge plus.\n- Knowing the trade off between server side performance and features. Having the ability to come up with innovative solutions to scalability and performance problems.\n- Strong Computer Science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms).\n- Experience with the LAMP stack, particularly PHP5.\n- Experience with jQuery (bonus for AngularJS experience).\n- Strong understanding of queueing technologies and strategies for large-scale systems.\n- Familiarity with caching strategies and experience with platforms like Redis.\n- Experience in building or working on a metrics / analytics / business intelligence systems.\n- Experience in object oriented (OO) design & programming.\n- Creative thinker who thrives in a small-team environment.\n- Passion for improving the Healthcare industry is a plus.\n- Extra bonus if you have familiar with EMR integration (electronic medical records). \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
