You will build clean, scalable, and maintainable backend services. You will build\nhighly scalable products for the enterprise customer, solve complex engineering challenges that come\nalong with that and collaborate with your team to continue improving the product and customer\nexperience!\nAbove all, you will have an opportunity to help the healthcare industry leverage digital technology to\nengage patients, improve outcomes, and save lives.\nWe are looking for someone who thrives in a start-up environment and demonstrates:\n● Intensely collaborative\n● Passionately focused on the customer\n● Detail oriented\n● Disciplined executor of responsibilities\n● Tenacious commitment to continuous improvement\n● Relentless drive to win\n● Intense curiosity on technology\n● Flexibility and willingness to learn\nHere is a glimpse of what you’ll do…\n● Develop new Java/Python based micro-services on BrightInsight Platform.\n● Software design and implementation on a cloud-based platform.\n● Understand, design and participate in architecture of end-to-end products including services,\nmobile and web applications.\n● Produce clear, concise, and well-written technical design documents.\n● Collaborate with software and systems engineering to transform software-based medical devices\nrequirements into formally documented detailed design, and development stories.\n● Implement services with predefined BrightInsight Software frameworks and base guidelines.\n● Collaborate with the test team for software verification.\n● Lead and participate in design workshops to facilitate and articulate modeling and architecture\nprinciples.\n● Lead a team of software engineers from nearshore and offshore partners.\n● Review others' work (code, design) and provide guidance for a consistent implementation.\n● Apply emergent technologies and best practices to the design of software solutions.\n● Support troubleshooting issues with services and perform data profiling/analytics activities.\nHere is some of what you’ll need (required)…\n● BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent fields\n● 3+ years of experience as software engineer\n● Strong understanding of the software design/architecture process\n● 3+ years of experience in Java and/or Python programming\n● 2+ years of experience working in micro-services in cloud environments such as Amazon Web\nServices or Google Cloud Platform\n● Experience with GRPC and REST\n● Experience with SQL and NOSQL databases\n● Knowledge of metadata model-driven software system and object-oriented software design\n● Hands-on experience with tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes\n● Experience with unit and integration testing\n● Strong communication skills: Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both\ntechnical and non-technical audiences.
