Crunch offers a complete survey data analysis platform that allows market researchers, analysts, and marketers to collaborate in a secure, cloud-based environment, using a simple, intuitive drag-and-drop interface to prepare, analyze, visualize and deliver survey data and analysis.\n\nWhat will I be doing?\n\n\n* Direct responsibility for managing approximately 20 developers, split across three teams.\n\n* Work with senior leadership and product marketing to create a road-map for the product.\n\n* Develop, lead and inspire a team of approximately 20 developers. Be a magnet for technical talent and accelerate the hiring of engineers.\n\n* Allocate resources, set priorities, and manage schedules for the teams. Deliver high quality software on time and within budget.\n\n* Promote a culture of success, pride, performance, discipline, and creativity. Play a leadership role within the company.\n\n\n\n\nWhat do I need to bring with me?\n\n\n* Experience managing teams using agile and test-driven development.\n\n* Strong computer science foundation\n\n* Expertise building big-data analytic solutions with appropriate use of relational and NoSQL database technologies\n\n* Fluency in multiple programming languages, but especially Python.\n\n* Understanding of JavaScript frameworks, such as React.\n\n* At least ten years’ experience in software development.\n\n* B.S. in computer science or related degree. \nWe’re looking for someone to join our engineering team as a front-end developer for tuftandneedle.com as well as our internal CRM and administration systems. You’ll collaborate with the rest of the engineering team on developing new features to our public site as well as our internal applications and assisting with marketing efforts to rapidly test and implement changes to the existing public content. Our ideal candidate will be fluent in HTML and CSS and have experience with preprocessors like Pug, SASS, LESS, HAML, or Stylus. Being a well-rounded JavaScript developer is more important than knowing the latest MV* framework or knowing what bleeding-edge tools are being developed.\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\n\n\n* Develop for tuftandneedle.com as well as our internal CRM and administration systems\n\n* Collaborate with the engineering team on developing new features to our public site as well as our internal applications\n\n* Assist with marketing efforts to rapidly test and implement changes to the existing public content\n\n\n\n\nEXPERIENCE:\n\n\n* Fluent in HTML and CSS and have experience with preprocessors like HAML, SASS, LESS, Pug, or Stylus\n\n* Broad knowledge of JavaScript\n\n* Fluent in React and Redux or another mature front-end framework\n\n* Experience in designing REST APIs\n\n* Experience in the full life cycle of a project (wireframing, storycarding, feature development, refactoring, and ongoing maintenance)\n\n\n\n\nPREFERRED:\n\n\n* Management of all areas of a modern web stack, including CI configuration, PAAS management (Now, Netlify, Heroku, etc.), Cloudflare, and related Amazon services\n\n* Experience with performance monitoring and optimization\n\n* Ability to identify accessibility limitations and develop enhancements to support site accessibility\n\n* Knowledge of multivariant testing systems and analytics tracking\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
