By weaving together our core values of professionalism, evidence-based methodologies, team work, adaptability, meritocracy, and putting the patient first, we can work together to ensure we are providing quality care to the populations we serve.\nPosition Summary:\nThe DevOps Engineer is responsible for working with the engineering team to identify, implement and monitor tools used for software version control, application builds, infrastructure changes and deployments. You will introduce processes, tools, and methodologies to balance needs throughout the software development life cycle, from coding and deployment to maintenance and updates. \nPosition Responsibilities:\n* Set up and maintain a CI/CD pipeline for an Elixir Phoenix application \n* Manage build activities until the software is deployed and delivered to users in all environments, ultimately to production \n* Maintain the release repository and manage key information such as build and release procedures \n* Consult with peers to troubleshoot issues that arise during testing and production, catching issues before launch \n* Design, implement and test automation scripts/tools for application build, deployment and provisioning \n* Automate operational processes as needed, with accuracy and following audit compliance requirements \n* Provide technical guidance and educate other engineers and peers on development and operations, seeking to continually improve processes companywide \n* Build, maintain, and monitor configuration standards \n* Configure the various application and CI/CD tools to support the organization \n* Manage provisioning on security and user permissions \n* Other duties as assigned \n\n\nQualifications:\n* Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field \n* Minimum 4 years DevOps or similar experience (software development and/or infrastructure/operations) \n* Ability to independently identify, research and resolve issues \n* An articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and has excellent communication skills \n* A decisive individual who possesses a detail-oriented perspective \n* Sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment, and strong operational focus \n* Good interpersonal skills and ability to explain protocols and processes with team and management. \n* Time and project management skills, with the capability to prioritize and multitask as needed \n\n\nPreferred Qualifications \n* Experience with agile methodologies \n* Experience with healthcare security and compliance (HIPAA) \n* Experience with one or more DevOps tools (e.g., Docker, Ansible) \n* Solid understanding of systems administration (Linux/UNIX) \n* Strong technical background \n* Strong interpersonal and communication skills \n* SQL database knowledge and experience \n* An orientation toward personal growth and continuous improvement \n\n\nAdditional Benefits (based on hiring structure):\n* Paid Time Off\n* Medical, Vision, Dental Health Benefits\n* Commuter Benefits\n* Health Savings Account\n* Dependent Care Savings Account\n* Flexible Spending Account\n\n\nSalary:\n* $70,000-$120,000 per annum\n* This position is 100% remote\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
