Remote Backend Engineer
We are a startup with the aim of revolutionising the trade fair and events sector. Our concept uses Big Data to digitise a sector that is anchored in the past and thus optimise the visitor experience and the return on investment for exhibitors.\n\n\n\nWe just closed our first round and are looking for developers who want to be part of this journey and help build something big. As our product is in a nascent stage, candidates should show initiative and feel comfortable in developing a product from scratch. Given that our market is global and the need to interact with people from all over the world, an advanced knowledge of English is a must. We are open to profiles from different ranges of experience.\n\n\n\nWe are looking for candidates with the following profile:\n\n* Background in engineering, computer science or equivalent experience\n\n* 3 years of relevant experience using the Spring framework\n\n* Advanced knowledge of Java 8 and functional programming\n\n* Knowledge of data structures, design patterns and creation of clean, robust, reusable code\n\n* Experience working on REST APIs and aspects of scalability and security\n\n* Familiar and comfortable working in a lean startup or similar Agile frameworks\n\n\n\nAdditionally the following will be valued:\n\n* Experience in cloud computing technologies (AWS, Docker)\n\n* Experience in front-end application development\n\n* Experience in TDD/BDD and CI/CD\n\n \n\nBe sure to mention the words **CENSUS GAME WINTER** when applying to show you read the job post completely.
