\nThe Senior Sales Manager/Sales Director EMEA is a strategic business role responsible for driving business performance by managing a team of sales professionals in all aspects of customer accounts within the EMEA region. The primary function of this role is to accelerate the growth of sales via direct sales and channel sales. \n\nPrimary duties include collaborating with the SVP of Global Sales to set revenue goals and company strategy and implementing a sales plan to drive revenue growth and attending key events to generate leads.\n\n The successful candidate will be energetic, passionate, positive, persuasive and well organized and able to demonstrate the ability to sell and lead. The candidate should have business development expertise and deal coaching abilities.\n\nThis role will focus on exceeding quarterly sales targets while developing and targeting markets and customers with potential needs for Desktop Metal products and services. The successful candidate will be adept at building and managing a sales pipeline of a team and have proven expertise in building sales year over year. In addition, the ideal candidate will work closely with marketing to drive lead generation programs.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n\n* Drive a sales team to achieve quarterly sales performance. \n\n* Drive team sales campaigns effectively including discovery, validation of value proposition, proof of concept and closing skills\n\n* Work with a team to secure new orders for business, negotiate pricing, delivery, and related matters to achieve optimum profitability for the company.\n\n* Create rolling 90 forecasts, ensuring execution and accuracy, and taking action to ensure overall business objectives are achieved.\n\n* Create strong relationships with key client stakeholders at both senior and mid-management levels\n\n* Understand the competitive landscape and market trends\n\n* Understand and effectively communicate the company's value prop, tech, process and current partnerships\n\n* Determine annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies; analyzing trends and results\n\n* Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products\n\n* Maintain sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors.\n\n* Maintain sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees. In this role, you will design and execute a grant administration framework to support the implementation of the organizationโ€™s philanthropic and federal funding across program teams. In addition to administering annual program expenses of about $40 million, the Director of Grants Administration will establish sound policies, procedures and systems that ensure seamless execution of all grant-funded project, financial and reporting deliverables.
