At Tettra, we make software that helps hundreds of teams share knowledge to grow and thrive together. Our product is primarily used by teams to answer repetitive questions in chat and onboard new hires faster. We use our own product every day to help our own team operate too.

Weโ€™re a small, 100% remote company thatโ€™s growing our customer base and team quickly. We believe in optimizing for the long-term, which means we operate at a sustainable pace and are financially sustainable.

Weโ€™re starting our first-ever customer successย  team. This is a unique opportunity to have direct input into processes we use to help make our customers successful and learn how a small software company operates directly from the founders.

This is a full-time, remote position based in the US.

About the role

  • As one of our first Customer Success Managers, youโ€™ll have the opportunity to help us iterate on our customer success and support processes. We want you to bring your experience and ideas to help us improve how we help customers use our productย

  • Youโ€™ll own keeping our help center updated and managing our support inbox workflows

  • Perform one-on-one product trainings and one-to-many product webinars so our customers & prospects can learn how to use Tettra more effectively

  • Manage relationships with our largest customers to drive product usage, teach them about new features, and help them understand the ROI of using Tettra

  • Take in-depth notes on customer calls and liaison with our engineering team to share product feedback

  • Develop ad-hoc support and success collateral to help educate customers on how to use Tettra

  • In the future, youโ€™ll help train and onboard new customer success hires

About you

  • 2-3+ years in a customer success, support, or sales role (CSM/Product Specialist/AM/BDR/SDR) at a SaaS company.

  • You can quickly learn the ins-and-outs of our software and how to use it in real-world applications.

  • You love talking to customers and helping them find solutions to their questions and problems.

  • When you have an idea to improve a process or workflow, you canโ€™t help but try it out and iterate on your approach.. You love to share your learnings with others to help them improve too.

  • You are naturally curious and have a history of learning new skills or finding an answer through self research. This is especially important in a remote company because you wonโ€™t always have someone to ask in the moment for an answer (and is the main reason why we built our product.)

  • You excel at self management and can keep yourself organized, productive, and motivated to hit your goals.

  • Strong written and verbal English skills.

  • US-based and able to overlap with customers in EU to PST time zones.

Who youโ€™ll work with:

Benefits

  • Competitive salary - Our goal is to hire the best people and compensate them fairly. Our salaries are based on Boston-area rates and we pay the same no matter where you live in the US.

  • Asynchronous culture - We are a results-driven team and operate mostly asynchronously. We donโ€™t care where youโ€™re based in the US and what hours you work,, as long as you can meet the expectations of your role.

  • Flexible vacation - Take time off when you need it. All you need to do is just give the team some notice ahead of time and coordinate coverage. We recommend taking at least 3 weeks off in addition to public holidays, but there are no firm rules. We trust you to take the time you need to be productive.

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance - We cover 100% of you and your familyโ€™s insurance, including dependents.

  • New-hire success package - We will buy you a new Mac laptop or equivalent of your choice, and provide you a $750 stipend to spend on improving your remote setup like a big monitor, a standing desk, high-quality webcam, or whatever else you need.

  • Personal development - Up to $500 per year reimbursement to spend on learning to improve your knowledge and craft through our Free Books & Courses program.

  • Transparency - We believe that access to information is key to making the best decisions. Therefore, everyone has full access to business metrics and financial information about the company. Youโ€™ll know our revenue, goals, growth rates, and cash on hand so thereโ€™s no surprises.

Why work with us?

  • We are remote - We are a fully remote company and donโ€™t have an office. We believe in trust and autonomy. Our internal operating system is geared towards asynchronous communication, common goals, and evaluations based on results. It doesnโ€™t matter if youโ€™ve worked like that before as long as you can ask good questions, collaborate & communicate well in primarily written form, and hold yourself accountable to get your work done.

  • We are a calm company - We believe in work/life harmony. Our team works a solid 40-hours per week during whatever hours work for us individually, then we sign off in the evenings and on weekends to do what we enjoy outside of work โ€” like spending time with friends & family, self improvement, or interesting hobbies. We scope our work to only the most important tasks and get those done by not wasting time on pointless status meetings, brainstorming discussions, or projects that arenโ€™t actually important.

  • We use our own product every day - We use our own product to share knowledge and document our processes internally.

  • Everyone has a voice - We believe that good ideas can come from anywhere. We hire smart, ambitious people like you because we want to hear your thoughts.

  • We are using our leverage for good - We currently donate 1% of all revenue to help fight climate change through Stripe Climate. We also offer discounted Tettra accounts to qualifying nonprofits to help their teams work more effectively to do more good in the world.

At Tettra, we believe that diverse teams result in better products and experiences for our customers and are more interesting to work on too. We are an equal opportunity employer and are committed to building a company that embraces and celebrates diversity and inclusion. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.ย

**We are the largest online video editing platform**\n\nBuilding creative tools are super impactful for so many people. From business owners to YouTubers, creators, artists, and more.\n\nHowever, building an online video editor is not easy. This is not just another ecom store, Web App or Saas Project. It will be one of the hardest challenges of your career and a place to do the best work of your life.\n\nThis does not mean we compromise work-life balance. We are a modern company that puts people first. Our team is incredible, super talented, humble and we are 100% remote.\n\n**What will you be doing?**\n\nYou will be primarily be working in ReactJS on the frontend, Node on the API side (and C++ for video rendering if you are up for a challenge), to help us deliver more video / account features to our customers. As a startup we are not extremely overbuilt and have a lot of greenfield space to explore and test new ideas and do research.\n\n**Who are we looking for?**\n\nWe are looking for someone who gets thrilled by the idea of solving deep technical problems, takes pride in their own work and likes to get creative to build innovative things. We know that not everyone fits into boxes and we are all always learning, however here are a few things that we are looking for:\n\n- Someone who is experienced in ReactJS and has a strong knowledge of JS fundamentals. Knowledge of C++ or video related code is a bonus\n- We care about how we write our code. So we are looking for someone who is comfortable going through code reviews, knows or would like to learn about testing their code and make it more performant\n- We donโ€™t care about university degrees, but we would like to see you have a good bit of theoretical knowledge in areas you have worked in and are interested in\n- Have good communication skills and be a team player who is happy to lend a hand if someone gets stuck\n- Someone who can roll up their sleeves and jump on different things. Building a simple online video editor isnโ€™t always so simple, so you might work on WebGL, API, DevOps or Architecture stuff. You don't need to know it all, but someone who is not scared of a challenge\n- Be able to contribute to the culture of engineering excellence by writing better documentation, teaching more junior teammates or improving processes around engineering in general\n- Experience working with video is a bonus\n\n\n \n\nPlease mention the word **EXQUISITELY** when applying to show you read the job post completely (#RMy4xMzMuMTI0Ljgw). This is a feature to avoid spam applicants. Companies can search these words to find applicants that read this and see they're human.\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n $100,000 — $130,000/year\n \n\n#Location\nWorldwide

๐Ÿ‘‰ Please reference you found the job on Remote OK, this helps us get more companies to post here, thanks!

When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy equipment which they then pay you back for later. Also never pay for trainings you have to do. Those are scams! NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Posts that link to pages with "how to work online" are also scams. Don't use them or pay for them. Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. A good idea is to check the domain name for the site/email and see if it's the actual company's main domain name. Scams in remote work are rampant, be careful! Read more to avoid scams. When clicking on the button to apply above, you will leave Remote OK and go to the job application page for that company outside this site. \nAt Bluecode were building the first European mobile payment scheme that enables cashless payments combined with value-added services. It's a solution from and for Europe; accepted at 20000 locations, from large and small department stores and supermarket chains to famous events like Oktoberfest (watch our CEO pitching at NOAH18 for more).\nWe just got additional funding, and we are making a strong push to increase the velocity and confidence at which we can continuously deploy our systems while more and more engineers work on them. A central part of that effort is remote blackbox API and UI testing, to guarantee that our systems continue to support every API flow and UI interaction flawlessly.\nTo that end were looking for a Software Engineer in Test that will help build, maintain, and scale our business critical automated acceptance test suite.\nEngineering @ Bluecode\n * We build new features on top of a modern stack, consisting of web apps (in a mix of Vue, Svelte, and Typescript) and native mobile SDKs communicating through APIs to Elixir services, backed by Postgres, all deployed in docker containers in a continuous delivery cycle to Kubernetes on AWS EKS, orchestrated by Pulumi.\n * You dont need to have experience in any of our specific technologies: were great at teaching good engineers how to use our modern SaaS stack.\n * We don't follow rigid Scrum or Kanban, but we do work in an agile, iterative way, and try to continuously improve and implement what works for us.\n \n\nWhat will you do?\n\n * You will join the automation and tooling team, a small, collaborative team of senior engineers, and be mainly working on the black box testing infrastructure, which we are building out (some prototypes exist, otherwise greenfield). This means theres a lot of opportunity and freedom to influence and help define direction, technology choices, etc. of the test automation infrastructure.\n * Your work will be the guard rails and launch track to allow our software engineers to develop and deploy at ever higher speeds and undertake deep refactorings without fear, because the automated black box tests will catch any changes in externally observable behavior of the system. In short, you will be a key enabler of developer velocity.\n * You will be building stuff like any other software engineering work, this means coding, delivering new features, code reviews, fixing bugs, peer programming and incident response.\n * You will own and be accountable for the different blackbox test suites and any other high-leverage coding/automation/tooling projects you take on.\n * You will collaborate with engineers, product managers and designers to help plan the work ahead, also to ensure that the automated acceptance tests are in place before product/feature launch.\n * You will be learning from and teaching other engineers; sharing your knowledge to enable them to contribute to the black box test suite, reducing knowledge silos in the process. As a senior engineer youre also encouraged to take on mentoring of junior engineers.\n * You will structure initial delivery and extension of the test suites into small, actionable tasks to deliver the most value in no time.\n * You will be involved with the product and engineering teams starting from the design phase to ensure high quality products for our customers and partners, which includes among other things to ensure the system remains very testable. As you will have a deep understanding of the externally visible behavior (or model) of our system, you will also have a voice on whether new features make sense, ie. whether they fit into the model of the existing system or are a departure.\n * Once the black box test automation is on a good track, there are opportunities for you to help with other automation and tooling tasks to support the engineering team (infrastructure automation, load and stress testing, improve tooling to shorten feedback cycle for developers, etc.).\n \n\n\nBenefits\n\nWhy do you want to work at Bluecode?\n * You can help build an amazing product in a company big enough for growth but lean enough to make a genuine impact.\n * The experience of being able to pay in real life with the system you've helped building is priceless.\n * A startup you'd be proud to use, we are putting consumers privacy first.\n * We will provide you with opportunities to develop your career.\n * You will be offered a competitive salary.\n * The work is fully remote and we have flexible working hours (though youre expected to overlap with Europe/Zurich for 5h per day).\n * Your equipment needs get covered by a recurring equipment stipend.\n * You will have a yearly budget for attending conferences.\n \n\n\n\nAt Bluecode, we foster an inclusive, supportive, fun yet challenging team environment. We value having a team that is made up of a diverse set of backgrounds and respect the healthy expression of diverse opinions. We embrace experimentation and the examination of all kinds of ideas through reasoning and testing. Come join us as we continue to change the world of mobile payment.\nIf you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to (paste into a Bourne-compatible shell):\n echo "moc tod edoceulb ta relleum tod d" | rev\nInterested? We'd love to hear from you. \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on similar jobs related to Developer, Digital Nomad, Teaching, Scheme, API, Mobile, Senior, Junior, SaaS and Engineer jobs that are similar:\n\n $70,000 — $120,000/year\n

You’ll document and describe all the technical capabilities of the platform in a clear, digestible format. In other words, you’ll become the world’s foremost expert on all things balena!\n\nThe documentation and internal knowledge base of solutions will be yours to design and maintain. You will create and organize this content, making sure it is synced, up-to-date, and easy for external and internal developers to quickly find the information they need.\n\nYou will be a critical element in balena’s [support driven development philosophy](https://www.balena.io/blog/support-driven-development/), helping the support engineers be more efficient and accurate. You will be integral in recognizing knowledge gaps in our user base but also in our team.\n\nYou will work cross functionally with Engineering, Product Management and Sales. Think of yourself as an internal journalist, using the entire team as your source as you dig out the perfect descriptions of our solutions for customers and employees. You will be on the front line of accelerating the development of some of the coolest IoT and edge technology products in the world. This will be a full-time role.\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES\n\n\n* Manage our docs from end to end. Document new features, maintain existing docs, organize the structure and flow of our docs, and ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency across all of our internal and external technical documentation, including GitHub repos.\n\n* Work closely with the product, engineering, and customer success teams to understand technical details and their implications for users.\n\n* Measure our success in helping users understand the balena platform via our docs, share progress with the team, and find ways to continuously improve.\n\n\n\n\nREQUIREMENTS\n\nNeed to have:\n\n\n* Excellent writing and communication skills. You turn complicated technical concepts into clear and interesting material.\n\n* Able to dive deep while keeping the big picture in mind. You can create lots of great content while seeing how it fits into our overall story and broader goals.\n\n* Able to work with developers and team members to gather technical details. Like a journalist, you aren’t afraid to ask questions to get to what’s most important for users to know, and root out knowledge gaps that will benefit customers.\n\n* Organized, thorough, accurate, and close attention to detail.\n\n* Self-motivated and able to set direction and priorities. You can be incredibly productive without much oversight and know where your time is best spent.\n\n* Skilled at learning and teaching new technical concepts. You don’t need to be a developer per se, but you do need to be able to build a thorough understanding of balena products and teach others about our technologies.\n\n* You believe positive user experiences are critical to success and love helping customers tackle technical problems\n\n* Able to understand the product from a user’s perspective and explain features in a way that users will appreciate.\n\n* Fluent in written and spoken English\n\n\n\n\nNice to have:\n\n\n* Experience working as a developer, particularly with JavaScript, HTML, and Linux\n\n* Experience building IoT and/or hardware projects. Bonus points if you’ve built something cool using balenaCloud\n\n* Familiarity with IoT, containers, electronics, or embedded software development.\n\n* Strong understanding of content and documentaion’s role in a SaaS developer platform.\n\n* Links to resources where we can see your work and projects you are proud of will be hugely beneficial.\n\n\n\n\nBENEFITS\n\n\n* Work with an extremely talented, diverse team\n\n* Equipment of your choice\n\n* Remote-friendly\n\n* Flexible working hours\n\n* Flexible vacation policy\n\n* Annual company gathering in an international location\n\n* We send you hardware for side projects!\n\n\n\n\n\n\nABOUT WORKING AT BALENA\n\nWe come from 15+ countries, and we embrace a remote culture with flexible hours. To us, this means being highly productive while still maintaining a healthy work-life balance. You need to be able to work remotely, and have a dependable internet access available so you can join video calls.\n\nWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diverse backgrounds. We maintain a work environment in which team members are treated with respect at all times and in which thoughts and ideas can be shared openly.\n\nWe communicate proposals, discuss with others in the team and accept feedback if it makes the result better. We value the ability to learn, which is more important to us than knowledge of specific technologies. We know that learning fast means being outside our comfort zone, which is OK -- we'd rather grow than let our assumptions get in our way. \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on similar jobs related to Engineer, Teaching, Video and SaaS jobs that are similar:\n\n $70,000 — $105,000/year\n

\nWork with a team of smart, highly productive engineers who care greatly about the code they are shipping. Our culture is very DevOps centric with the goal of bringing the most value we can to our business through a streamlined CI/CD pipeline. Our team champions learning, bettering themselves, and teaching to the rest of the team. In addition to working with a great team and shipping a great SaaS product, one day every two weeks you'll invest in yourself.
