The ideal candidate should be a strong problem-solver with excellent attention to detail. Familiarity with non-EVM blockchains, the DeFi landscape, and traditional finance would be a plus.\n\nResponsibilities include, but not limited to:\n\n\n* Design and build applications built on various blockchains, with a primary focus on EVM compatible chains\n\n* Develop, test, and deploy secure smart contracts\n\n* Debug and optimize smart contracts\n\n* Work on full-stack engineering solutions that integrate with or built on top of blockchains.\n\n* Extract and process data from the blockchain\n\n* Develop scripts & tools to automate or improve blockchain interaction\n\n* Collaborate with other engineers and teams, both internally and externally\n\n* Stay updated with new developments and technology in the blockchain space\n\n\n\n\nTechnical Skills:\n\n\n* Excellent programming skills, C# and Python preferred but will also consider other tech stacks (e.g., Rust, GO, Java, Kotlin)\n\n* Ability to implement efficient algorithms and design complex data structures\n\n* An understanding of good software architecture and engineering process\n\n* Ability to write clean, testable, and maintainable code without over-engineering\n\n* Strong computer science background\n\n* Proficient in Solidity programming language with extensive experience in developing complex smart contracts. Familiar with toolings such as Foundry, Hardhat or Remix. Other languages will be also considered (e.g Cairo, MOVE)\n\n* Deep understanding of Ethereum blockchain architecture\n\n* Understanding of the DeFi landscape, including lending protocols, DEXs, yield farming, and stablecoins\n\n* Experience in developing off-chain applications that integrate with web3 protocols, using libraries such as Web3.js and ethers.js.\n\n\n\n\nOther Competencies:\n\n\n* You need to be a self-starter\n\n* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail\n\n* Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills\n\n* Proficiency in English\n\n\n\n\nNice to have:\n\n\n* \n\n\n* Knowledge in Traditional Finance, as well as major use cases such as Tokenisation.\n\n* Experience with layer-2 solutions like Starknet, Optimism, zkSync, and Arbitrum\n\n* Familiarity with blockchain data analytics tools like Dune and Nansen\n\n* Knowledge of cryptographic primitives like hashing and signature schemes\n\n* Familiarity with formal verification methods for smart contracts\n\n* Experience in front-end development with frameworks like React or Angular\n\n* Familiarity with smart contracts auditing tooling/techniques (e.g Fuzzing, Symbolic execution, Static and Dynamic Analysis)\n\n* Infrastructure / DevOps experience (eg. setup private networks)\n\n* Ethereum core development experience\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDisclaimer: I hereby consent to my personal information being stored and processed by Demerzel Solutions Limited (t/a Nethermind) (the “Company”) for recruitment purposes in relation to both the selected job role and any other role the Company considers me a qualified candidate for.
