In this role, you will spearhead the development and maintenance of smart contracts, focusing particularly on Layer 2 solutions to enhance scalability and efficiency. Collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and engineers, you will be instrumental in creating and implementing scalable and innovative blockchain solutions for our platform.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n* \nLayer 2, Layer 3 and Ethereum Smart Contract Development: Lead the design, development, and deployment of secure and efficient smart contracts on Ethereum Layer 2 blockchains. Implement industry best practices for code quality, security, and optimization.\n\n* \nBlockchain Architecture and System Design: Collaborate with the product team to define and develop the technical architecture for blockchain solutions, ensuring integration with Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies.\n\n* \nStandards and Protocol Integration: Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in Ethereum Layer 2 solutions and Layer 3 solutions. Evaluate and integrate emerging protocols and standards into our blockchain ecosystem.\n\n* \nTesting, Auditing, and Optimization: Conduct extensive testing, debugging, and auditing of smart contracts to ensure optimal functionality and security. Focus on optimizing contracts for Ethereum Layer 2 environments, addressing scalability and performance challenges.\n\n* \nTechnical Leadership and Collaboration: Provide technical expertise and guidance in Ethereum Layer 2 or Layer 3 technologies, leading cross-functional teams and mentoring junior engineers.\n\n\nYour Craft\n\n* \nEducation and Experience: Bachelorโs or Masterโs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with at least 6 years of professional experience in Smart Contract Engineering, including a focus on Ethereum Layer 2 blockchain technologies and Protocols.\n\n* Experience in integrating and working with various blockchain protocols and infrastructures.\n\n* \nProblem-Solving Abilities: Excellent analytical skills with a strong focus on code quality, security, and efficient scalability.\n\n* \nCollaboration and Communication: Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate within a team and across departments.\n\n\n\nContinuous Learning: Passion for staying abreast of the latest in Ethereum Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies, and eagerness to adopt new methodologies as needed.\n\nWhy work with us?\nWe do things a little differently here at Game7, as youโd expect from the blockchain.
