Nick OโLeary, co-creator of Node-RED is FlowFuse co-founder and CTO.\n\nWe are looking for an experienced, remote Front-End Engineer (VueJS and NodeJS) with a good eye for design that can join the talented Engineering team to help build out Node-RED Dashboard 2.0.\n\nThe ideal candidate will be who is able to work independently, with good communication skills to work in our all-remote environment and wider Node-RED community. You should be someone that displays a high level of ownership and delivers well-tested, high quality work. As a small company you will work closely with the CTO and the whole engineering team.\n\nAbout Node-RED\n\nNode-RED is an open-source low-code programming tool, allowing developers to quickly and easily connect IoT devices, APIs, and online services by creating flow-based applications. A popular use case Node-RED is building full-stack applications, for which additional nodes are required in the form of "Dashboard". Node-RED Dashboard 2.0 offers a collection of nodes and widgets that enable users to build user interfaces and data visualisations for their full-stack applications in Node-RED.\n\nWorking at FlowFuse\n\nFlowFuse is an all-remote company, with most of the current team based in Europe, USA and Canada. We want to build a company that provides a healthy, supportive and enjoyable place to work and publicly document all of our company values in our handbook.\nJob Description\n\nResponsibilities\n\n\n* Design, build, and maintain features in Node-RED and in Node-RED Dashboard 2.0\n\n* Engage with the open source community to triage bugs and review pull requests.\n\n* Work in an agile environment, with a focus on iteration and continuous improvement\n\n* Apply testing to verify function and ensure quality\n\n* Contribute to the company handbook to document our best practices and processes\n\n* Contribute content to the company website, e.g. writing blog articles and publicising your work.\n\n\n\n\nRequirements\n\n\n* Full-time (36-40 hours per week)\n\n* Strong programming experience, of which at least 4 years in Javascript with NodeJS and VueJS\n\n* Experience working in a startup environment\n\n* Comfortable working remotely full-time (on-camera meetings, flexible schedule)\n\n* Strong written and verbal communication skills in English\n\n* Great collaboration skills\n\n* Can-do attitude with willingness to help and pick up tasks outside of direct responsibilities\n\n\n\n\nTechnical Stack\n\nThe platform is built using the following technologies.
