\nBackground\n\n\nOn December 6, 2022, the Bank approved the Digital Wallets for Inclusion and Sustainability; project, which builds upon the success achieved in LACChain. This project aims to develop enabling ecosystems in the countries of the LAC region to expand the use of digital wallets, improving the management of economic and environmental assets.
