ConsenSys alumni have moved on to become tech entrepreneurs, CEOs, and team leads at tech companies. \n\nAbout API Platform \n\nThe API Platform team powers the rich experience of the Metamask Wallet by providing backend API services for all Metamask platforms: extension, mobile, portfolio and MetaMask Institutional. The EVM Datalake is the frontrunner of this experience by providing accurate, low latency indexed blockchain data to allow web3 users to see their token account balances, translation history, NFT collections and more. The EVM Datalake team’s mission is to constantly serve the most valuable on-chain data to our decentralized applications and developer users across multiple blockchains. \n\nWhat you’ll do\n\nWe are looking for a senior backend engineer with production application experience to work on growing our multi-chain EVM Datalake. This team extracts and indexes on-chain data taking in requirements from both our internal applications and our developer community. The ideal candidate for this position has deep experience working with the Ethereum protocol and is able to design and lead a complex feature area autonomously. \n\nWould be great if you brought this to the role\n\n\n* 6+ years of experience as a Backend Software Engineer working on production applications\n\n* Experience with GoLang development \n\n* Experience with, or understanding of: PostgreSQL\n\n* Experience working on agile projects in an Agile environment\n\n* Experience working in CI/CD setup\n\n* Experience working in a distributed, remote team environment\n\n* Excellent communication skills\n\n* Writing good technical documentation\n\n* Located in EMEA/able to work EMEA business hours\n\n\n\n\nBonus Points for any of:\n\n\n* Experience as a Team Lead or Tech Lead\n\n* Experience working with decentralized applications or web3 protocols\n\n* BSc/MSc in Computer Science or related subject\n\n* Experience in Typescript\n\n* Experience with microservices architectures\n\n* Understanding of blockchain technology, especially Ethereum\n\n* Blockchain / smart contract development: Solidity / Ethereum, Web3.js or Ethers.js library\n\n* General interest in DevOps topics / experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes and deploying cloud infrastructure (AWS / Azure)\n\n\n\n\nDon't meet all the requirements?
