After years of rapid growth through innovative product development and strategic acquisitions, the company is ready for a digital transformation aimed at replacing legacy supply chain systems with a centralized ERP that will power Shift4's global expansion journey.\n\n\n\nAs the Technical Architect, ERP Systems, you will play a leading role in the technical architectural design of the future state supply chain tech experience. This will include scaling our existing ERP environment, integrating with core systems such as our new CRM to developing sleek front end interfaces using the Palantir Foundry platform. Throughout the mission, we expect you to be a steward of the Shift4 Way - make bold decisions, pursue excellence, take ownership of all that you do and build trust with your stakeholders. \n\n \n\nResponsibilities:\n\n\nCollaborate with cross functional teams across Shift4 such as finance, supply chain, sales, legal, and marketing and to understand existing and future needs to related to Shift4’s supply chain operations\n\nDrive technical decision making  using First Principles thinking; challenge stakeholders to remove parts throughout the technical design phase to keep with our goals of efficiency and maximum productivity\n\nDevelop and maintain all relevant documentation such as process workflows, technical specifications / designs, requirements, etc. \n\nServe as a voice of guidance throughout the build / configuration process; provide oversight during testing / QA to ensure product alignment with architecture designs and goals\n\nPresent to senior executives on solution design, product vision, and delivery roadmap as needed \n\nCollaborate with development teams to integrate APIs with various systems, ensuring seamless data exchange and smooth workflow\n\nConduct thorough testing and debugging of APIs to ensure reliability, performance, and adherence to specifications.\n\nPerform code reviews and provide technical guidance to ensure high-quality deliverables\n\nTroubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions\n\nWork cross-functionally to identify and resolve technical challenges throughout the development lifecycle\n\nStay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices  \n\n\n\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A relevant master's degree is a plus.\n\n7+ years of experience working as a Technical Architect or a similar role focused on API development and integration.\n\n5+ years of experience working with programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, R, C/C++, etc.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues\n\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders\n\nProven hands-on experience and knowledge of current software development, cloud, and security technologies\n\nAbility to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.\n\n\n\n\n \n\nDesired Qualifications:\n\n\nMasters degree in a relevant technical field\n\n8+ years of experience with integrating multiple software systems through APIs, or performing large implementations of new software systems (such as an ERP, Salesforce, or other type of graphical user interface)\n\n8+ years of experience building and managing data pipelines, developing ETL processes, and managing data warehouses\n\nUnderstanding of operational fundamentals such as corrective action reporting, non-conformances, inventory management, and data governance\n\nPersonally led a major project from inception to integration\n\nStrong collaborative skills with business, IT and external stakeholders; ability to lead discussions with resources across all levels and departments to ensure proper technical strategy development\n\nExperience with one or more  of the following platforms: Palantir Foundry, Mulesoft, Oracle Fusion, Salesforce\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on similar jobs related to Design, Testing, API, Senior and Marketing jobs that are similar:\n\n $60,000 — $110,000/year\n
