**ABOUT US**\n\nWe are a fully remote startup (headquartered in Canada) building a smart, curious, and driven team that’s making software to help sales reps sell better.\n\nProspect is a lead generation app that helps you find contact data right inside your browser in real-time. The best sales teams from the top tech companies in the world use Prospect to crush their sales targets.\n\nWe have a culture of no disruptions (we have almost no meetings) and flex remote work (work on your schedule) makes our company a great environment for creative work.\n\n**ABOUT THIS ROLE**\n\nWe are looking for a talented Designer to join our product team. \n\nThis is a rare opportunity where you will have the opportunity to craft our entire design experience – our brand, product, and website. \n\nThis is a high impact role. We are looking for someone to take a lot of ownership, try new things, and ship work that our customers will love. \n\nThis is a 100% remote role and is a **part-time/freelance position**. The working hours are flexible and the workload will vary throughout the year. We are looking for someone to work with long-term to take on regular routine activities as well as tackle one-off projects.\n\n**ABOUT YOU**\n\nYou love making simple, minimal, and clean designs. You believe that design is about subtracting noise and focusing on the core elements that matter, not adding extra unnecessary details.\n\nYou give your designs a premium feel. You go the extra mile to add the bits of final touches to make something very distinctive, unique, and posh.\n\nYou use design as a tool to make the product more useful. You realize that good design should get out of the user's way and design to help the user get the most value out of the product.\n\n**WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON**\n\nYou will work as the main designer on our team and will work on everything design related – branding, product, and website.\n\nSome projects include:\n\n- Designing UI for upcoming new features\n- Re-designing pages on our current website\n- Implementing a design system for in-app consistency\n- Analyzing our existing product and recommending and implementing usability and design improvements\n- Working with marketing to design graphics for product announcements and newsletters\n\n**MUST HAVES**\n\n- An awesome portfolio of past work\n- 3+ years of visual design experience\n- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written\n\n**BONUS NICE-TO-HAVES**\n\n- Worked with a SaaS or tech company before\n- Past remote work experience \n\nBe sure to mention the word **ADORABLE** when applying to show you read the job post completely. This is a beta feature to avoid spam applicants. Companies can search these words to find applicants that read this and see they're human / RMzQuMjMxLjI0Ny44OA==.\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on similar jobs related to Design and Digital Nomad jobs that are similar:\n\n $55,000 — $130,000/year\n \n\n#Location\n🌏 Worldwide

We are a remote startup (headquartered in Canada) building a smart, curious, and driven team that’s making software to help sales reps sell better.\n\nProspect is a lead generation app that helps you find contact data right inside your browser in real-time. The best sales teams from the top tech companies in the world use Prospect to crush their sales targets.\n\n**MORE ABOUT US**\n\nWe are currently a team of 13 people -- you will be #14 🙂\n\nWe are self-funded and profitable (no VCs or investors). We did this because we want to do what’s best for our team and customers.\n\nWe have balanced working hours (~8 hours/day), don’t work weekends, and take ample time off. We don’t have any “managers” and we rarely do any internal meetings.\n\nWe believe that customer support is not just a chore but is rather an opportunity to make someone’s day. We strive to go above and beyond when it comes to support.\n\n**ABOUT YOU**\n\nYou are calm and collected. You enjoy helping and talking to people. You realize that customers may ask you about the same issues repeatedly. You know that things can go really wrong sometimes and are able to deal with “fires” without losing your cool.\n\nYou’re self-managed and very well organized. You know that you will be joining an early-stage startup and that will require wearing multiple hats while not losing track of the bigger picture. \n\n**HOW WE CURRENTLY DO SUPPORT**\n\nOur first line of support is our support email address. All support emails come into Help Scout into a shared queue. We also provide in-app live chat that customers can use to get support.\n\nFor more passive support, we actively maintain a knowledge base. Customers can access the knowledge base to see answers to common questions.\n\nEvery now and then we jump on a Zoom screen share or call a customer to further diagnose problems.\n\n**WHAT YOU WILL DO**\n\nYou will be helping us full-time with customer support. This includes doing things such as:\n\n- Prioritizing tickets and answering them as soon as possible\n- Hopping on screen share calls to diagnose problems and educating users\n- Working directly with Engineering to beta test new versions before launch\n- Analyze daily metrics and proactively reach out to customers regarding issues\n- Continuously improving Customer Support processes\n\nSince you will be the face of our company to customers, you will also:\n\n- Update knowledge base and make training videos\n- Let the rest of the team know about any customers’ suggestions or feedback \n- Regularly update internal company wikis\n\nWe're pretty relaxed when it comes to working hours. However, we've noticed that most customers contact us between 10am-6pm EST (UTC-5).\n\n**MUST HAVES**\n\n- 1-2+ years of Customer Support experience\n- Technical chops (nothing advanced but you should be able to pick up technical troubleshooting concepts quickly)\n\n**BONUS NICE-TO-HAVES**\n\n- Past remote work experience\n- Worked at a startup or a SaaS company before\n- Experience with Salesforce\n- Familiarity and prior experience with Chrome Extensions\n\n**WHAT YOU’LL GET**\n\n- Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 Canadian dollars per year\n- Freedom to try new things (help people the way you want)\n- No disruptions (we have almost no meetings)\n\n**MORE OF WHAT YOU’LL GET**\n\n- 4 weeks paid time off\n- Work remotely full-time (even after COVID)\n- Be part of a small team doing big things in an independent work environment\n- $1,500 annual continued learning budget (for books, courses, and self-improvement)\n- $1,000+ annual travel spending allowance (money to spend during your vacation)\n- Benefits (health, dental, etc) through our company HSA (for people living in Canada) \n\nBe sure to mention the words **START ABOVE FAME** when applying to show you read the job post completely. The best sales teams from the top tech companies in the world use Prospect to crush their sales targets.\n\n**MORE ABOUT US**\n\nWe are currently a team of 11 people -- you will be #12 🙂\n\nOur entire company works remotely from multiple cities around the world.\n\nWe are self-funded and profitable (no VCs or investors). We did this because we want to do what’s best for our team and customers.\n\nAuthoritative leadership style is practiced here, where the overall goal is given and you have the freedom to choose your own way of achieving it.\n\nWe have balanced working hours (~8 hours/day), don’t work weekends, and take ample time off. We don’t have any “managers” and we rarely do any internal meetings.\n\nWe understand the importance of work/life balance which is why we are one of few that offer Fridays off in the summer ☀️\n\n**ABOUT THE ROLE**\n\nThis unique role is a blend of the traditional Sales Development (“SDR”) and Account Executive (“AE”) roles.\n\nIn the first 3 months, you will:\n\n- Source new leads (using Prospect 🙂)\n- Send cold emails and make cold calls\n- Schedule meetings for a seasoned sales rep on the team\n\nOnce you’re fully ramped up, in the next 3 months you are expected to:\n\n- Keep prospecting and booking meetings\n- Start doing your own sales calls and demos\n\nOnce you’ve grown into the role, your final responsibilities will be:\n\n- Finding your own prospects\n- Booking meetings with them\n- Doing your own demos\n- Negotiating and closing deals\n\nWe’ve set this “full stack sales” role up this way so that you’re always growing and exposed to new challenges instead of being forced into one very specific responsibility.\n\n**ABOUT YOU**\n\nYou are creative and tech-savvy. You realize that your prospects get flooded with cold emails and you look for ways to stand out from the crowd. Experience with outbound software (Outreach.io, Salesloft) and other sales tech (Vidyard, Cirrus Insight) is a big plus!\n\nYou focus on quality over quantity. You believe that it is better to write ten high-quality cold emails versus one hundred cookie-cutter emails.\n\nYou don’t make excuses. You realize that there will always be objections and you get a thrill from dealing with them.\n\n**MUST HAVES**\n\n- Must be located in Canada 🇨🇦\n- 1+ years experience in an SDR or Account Executive role\n- You’ve worked in a sales role (inbound or outbound) at SaaS company\n- You’re familiar with using Salesforce (CRM)\n\n**BONUS NICE-TO-HAVES**\n\n- Experience using Outreach.io or SalesLoft\n- Worked at a startup\n- Past experience working remotely\n- Familiarity with lead databases (Zoominfo, DiscoverOrg, etc)\n\n**COMPENSATION AND PERKS**\n\n- $1,500 annual continued learning budget (for books, courses, and self-improvement)\n- $1,000+ annual travel spending allowance (money to spend during your vacation)\n- Flexible working hours (4 hour overlap with EST and the remaining 4 flexible)\n- 4 weeks paid time off\n- Benefits (health, dental, etc) through our company HSA (for people living in Canada) \n\nBe sure to mention the words **CHARGE HORROR TEAM** when applying to show you read the job post completely.
