Check us out here!\n\nJob Description:\n\nThis position is responsible for the maintenance and improvement of the Dealer Inspire platform, specifically forward-facing features and functionality. The Feature Developer creates new features or refactors existing tools. This role requires expert knowledge of the Dealer Inspire platform and associated DI Plugins and third-party plugins. Feature Developers must be knowledgeable of available tools and resources and know where to implement custom solutions. Strong problem solving, organization, and documentation skills are key to success.\n\nRequired Skills:\n\n\n* 2+ years of development experience using a variety of technologies.\n\n* Strong command of HTML, CSS, JS, and PHP.\n\n* Familiarity and experience with Git/Mercurial.\n\n* Understanding of WordPress and experience building WordPress themes.\n\n* Experience building WordPress plugins.\n\n* Familiarity with frontend frameworks like Bootstrap, Bourbon, or Foundation.\n\n* Expertise in building and testing responsive sites.\n\n* Must be organized, detail oriented, and able to juggle multiple projects with varying timelines and requirements.\n\n* Demonstrated ability to communicate complex terms and ideas to stakeholders and coworkers.\n\n* Fast learner & interested in new technologies.\n\n* The ability to remain cool under pressure.\n\n\n\n\nNice to have:\n\n\n* Experience with SASS/SCSS.\n\n* Experience with automated testing.\n\n* Experience with Node.\n\n* Experience with JS frameworks like Vue.\n\n* Experience with build tools like Grunt or Gulp.\n\n* Any design experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc.\n\n\n\n\nResponsibilities May Include:\n\n\n* Development work on our Award-Winning, WordPress based platform.\n\n* Working with our development team, systems team, and designers to fulfill support requests or bug reports from clients.\n\n* Maintaining current WordPress plugins and building them to support new or existing platform features.\n\n* Building custom functionality on client sites.\n\n* Working with internal and external APIs to build dynamic services.\n\n* Supporting the development team by providing knowledge and training resources.\n\n* Contributing to or supporting internal tools utilized by the development teams.\n\n\n\n\nCompensation:\n\nCompensation based upon skill and previous experience. At Dealer Inspire, we believe that security is paramount to building trust with our customers. As the Lead Security Engineer you will have the opportunity to develop and improve security programs that enable stakeholders across Dealer Inspire to deliver secure software. \n\nWhat you will do:\n\n\n* Partner with development teams to ensure OWASP best practices are being followed. \n\n* Lead internal penetration tests across critical assets. \n\n* Develop internal data handling & storage procedures. \n\n* Partner with sales teams to ensure compliance with customer security requirements. \n\n* Develop roadmaps to receive ISO & SOC certifications. \n\n* Train internal teams on security policies and practices. \n\n* Work with executive team to develop long-term security goals. \n\n* Partner with IT teams to assess the risk of  threats and vulnerabilities to Dealer Inspire and the services Dealer Inspire provides to its clients.\n\n\n\n\n\nRequired Skills\n\n\n* Working knowledge of Unix/Linux shell, AWS, vulnerability scanners, Mac OS X\n\n* Ability to perform tasks with limited supervision\n\n* Previous application security testing or Incident Response (IR) experience, including presenting and documenting vulnerabilities, findings or incidents.\n\n* Strong understanding of software security architecture and design and the ability to clearly articulate best practices for application security\n\n* Excellent interpersonal communication skills, breaking down vulnerabilities to both developers and leadership.\n\n* Comprehensive knowledge, experience, and understanding of testing for the OWASP Top 10\n\n\n\n\nDesired Skills\n\n\n* CISSP or CISA certification.\n\n* Experience programming in Ruby, PHP, or JavaScript.\n\n* Experience working directly with clients \n\n\n\n\nCompensation\n\n$90,000+ per year based upon skill and previous experience.
