Hello there!\nAre you ready for a really ambitious position as a senior front-end developer?\n\nAnd yes, the role is fully remote.\n\nLikvido is a (very) fast-growing startup. We are 25 employees now, and we have just raised a seed round to realize our huge ambitions for the coming years. \n\nWeโre now looking for a senior front-end developer that can bring our visuals, UI/UX and front-end stack to the next level.\n \n**So what are we doing?**\n\nWeโre helping small companies succeed.\n\nWeโve built an โInvoice CRMโ - imagine a system like Hubspot / Pipedrive / Salesforce, but for your invoices. You can assign workflows, add todos, write notes and much more. Weโre currently only in Denmark, but the platform is international and ready to scale internationally in 2020.\n\nOn top of the โInvoice CRMโ, weโre going to launch financial products. Imagine, when you create the invoice - we will automatically pay our client the majority of the invoice - RIGHT away! BEFORE their client even paid! How cool is that?\n\nThis is possible because we have full control of the payment flow, and we have a very large data-set our data scientists are using for transaction-level credit ratings. This makes it possible to only provide loans on low-risk invoices.\n\nThe goal is to help small companies succeed. We have ~1.500 customers right now, and weโre adding 1-200 customers every month. In a few years, we should have millions of invoices through the system every month.\n\n\n# Responsibilities\n
Our platform is ~18 months old. We have a big monolith ASP.NET MVC application, combined with 4 solid ASP.NET Core microservices. The front-end is currently old-school and not very nice. We use a customized โAdmin Bootstrap themeโ, lots of Vue.js, unfortunately even more jQuery and some SASS / Grunt for CSS. \n\n**Weโre not proud of this**, and we need someone whoโs really awesome that can clean up this mess while delivering features and redesigns!\n\nWeโre 6 full-time fully, remote developers, and 3 part-timers. We plan to double the team in 2020.\n\n**The job:**\nBeing a senior front-end developer, your job is to:\n\n* Implement new visual changes (HTML + CSS + JavaScript preferably in Vue.js)\n* Be responsible for the front-end technical stack in the solution\n* Make sure we adopt component design and start to make โnice and reuseableโ UI components around the site\n* Make code-reviews and be responsible for the JavaScript & HTML+CSS in the solution\n\nYou will participate in sprints like all other developers but will have a higher percentage of โclean-upโ tasks. We know we have to redesign our front-end stack, and we will provide at least 25-35% of your available time to do this. When we make new features, we also expect it will be implemented properly. \n\n# Requirements\nWeโre looking for someone who can say โYES!โ to the following:\n\n* Iโm a senior front-end with many years of experience\n* I have multiple years of experience building a modern JavaScript stack. Iโm familiar with build tools such as Webpack/Rollup and know how to set them up to use the latest JS features (ESNext) and new CSS specs. \n* Iโm up-to-date on the latest JS & CSS specs and know best practices around modern state management (Redux, GraphQL).\n* I know how to set up a modern stack that makes use of client-side routing and offers all the things youโd expect from a modern SPA, such as offline-support, service workers, push notifications, etc.\n* Bonus: Iโm familiar with useful helper tools (such as storybook, JSDocs) that help me build & document my components in an efficient and team-friendly way\n* Iโm cool with spending at least 2 weeks per year (preferably 4-6 weeks) in the Copenhagen office, starting with a week when hired\n* Youโre cool with working on Windows. The application is currently limited to Visual Studio on Windows machines, meaning this is a requirement - unfortunately. We will get this to .NET Core and therefore OSX during 2020, but not when you start the job :( sorry!\n \nSo without further ado: If you consider yourself a top front-end developer, and feel like having a very ambitious role is the next step in your career - APPLY!\n \n\nPlease mention the words **ALPHA INDOOR THAT** when applying to show you read the job post completely (#RMjE2LjczLjIxNi4xMDA=). Hello there!\n\nDo you want to help a very ambitious startup move even faster by clearing obstacles for our development team?\n\nAnd yes, the role is fully remote.\n\nLikvido is a (very) fast-growing startup. We are 25 employees now, and we have just raised a seed round to realize our huge ambitions for the coming years. \n\nWeโre now looking for a project manager, who is responsible for running our sprints, test features, coordinate releases and be the go-to person for our developers. We will also pay for SCRUM courses, so you can implement that in Likvido!\n\n\n*!BEING ABLE TO CODE IS NOT A REQUIREMENT!*\n \n\n**So what are we doing?**\n\nWeโre helping small companies succeed.\n\nWeโve built an โInvoice CRMโ - imagine a system like Hubspot / Pipedrive / Salesforce, but for your invoices. At Likvido weโre working with bi-weekly development sprints. We already have a product-owner, who is responsible for preparing a backlog of tasks. \n\nYour job is to make sure as many items from the backlog get solved! If we break that down, that means you will be responsible for:\n\n* Be responsible for the sprint-plannings, daily standup format, and other recurring developers meetings\n* Be the go-to person for the developers with any questions. Your job is to find the answer (typically coordinating with the rest of the company).\n* Help test features from a business perspective, to verify tasks are ready for a release\n* Follow-up on all the tasks in the current sprint, update our issue system and push all features forward\n* Be the constant force for getting features released. Make sure no tasks get stuck, but always moved forward until theyโre done\n\nToday, the role is basically filled by our CTO (who is also writing this job ad..). I need to get out of everything day-to-day, and youโre a success in this job if I donโt have to worry about any day-to-day in the IT department. Our product owner will deliver the prioritized roadmap, you will be responsible for getting as many tasks solved every sprint as possible. \n\nPractically, I would expect the role will be something like: \n\n* 25 % testing / releasing\n* 25 % meetings (developers or stakeholders)\n* 25 % coordinating and answering questions\n* 25 % planning sprints / process / improving whole flow\n\nBut, hey, being honest - I never hired for this role before. So I guess we will see.\n \n\n# Requirements\nWeโre very open to different backgrounds for this role. If you come from a non-tech background, coding background, testing background or even a product background - doesnโt matter. \n\nHowever, the following things are very important:\n\n* Fluent in English\n* You should LOVE structure and loves to make project plans (and follow up on them)\n* Youโre social and outgoing. You need to coordinate with many people in a company while being remote\n* Youโre above average IT-savvy. You should be able to: 1) download development programs & run applications from your computer 2) use many different systems & programs\n* We donโt care about time-zone, but you need to be online at least 10am - 3 pm Central European Time (CET) daily\n* Being able to spend at least 6-8 weeks per year in Copenhagen, Denmark\n\n\nItโs a huge plus if youโve worked with SaaS (software-as-a-service) before, or has worked in accounting systems.\n\nItโs also worth noting that weโre a startup with big ambitions. This also comes with big expectations. We donโt expect you to work crazy Silicon Valley hours, but you should also expect to work significantly more than 40 hours per work.\n\n \n\nPlease mention the words **PULL COUPLE GINGER** when applying to show you read the job post completely (#RMjE2LjczLjIxNi4xMDA=). Our platform is ~18 months old. We have a big monolith ASP.NET MVC application, combined with 4 solid ASP.NET Core microservices. Everything is hosted in Azure and Github, and we use many of the Azure products, including Azure DevOps. \n\nWeโre 5 full-time fully remote developers, and 4 part-timers. We plan to double the team in 2020.\n\n**The job:**\nWeโre going to make 2 development teams. One team is responsible for the microservices, another is responsible for the โInvoice CRMโ application. We already have a great team-lead for the microservice team, and now weโre looking for \nanother great team-lead for the application team.\n\n**Being the team-lead, your job will be:**\n* Solve the hardest technical challenges in the code - youโre expected to code roughly 50% of the time\n* Manage the bi-weekly sprints - itโs your job to make sure the sprints are successful and Github (our issue system) is always updated\n* Make pull request reviews (or request another team member to do so)\n* Make core technical & architectural decisions on the platform\n* Release code & make sure the releases go well\n \nYou will be working closely together with our product manager, our client success manager, our operations manager and me - the CTO. \n\nAs a CTO, itโs very important for me to get out of the day-to-day operations of development. I will still be heavily involved, but if Iโm away for a few weeks - all the sprints & activities should not be affected. Your job is to make this possible. \n\nYour job is to make me obsolete day-to-day.\n \n\n# Requirements\nWeโre looking for someone who can say โYES!โ to the following:\n\n* Iโm a senior developer with many years of experience, with prior experience in managing a team and running sprints\n* Iโm a real senior & experienced backend .NET / C# developer\n* Iโm not faint of heart, and Iโm ready for a very ambitious role\n* Iโm cool with spending at least 4 weeks per year (preferably 6-8 weeks) in the Copenhagen office, starting with 2 weeks when hired\n* Iโm working within +/- 3 hours of CET (Central European Timezone)\n \nA last note. Likvido is not an easy choice. We will have sky-high expectations, you will be challenged and you will have lots of responsibilities. \n\nTo compensate for this, we offer a competitive salary and a remote leadership position.\n\nSo without further ado: If you consider yourself a top .NET developer, and feel like having a very ambitious role is the next step in your career - APPLY!\n\n \n\nPlease mention the words **CLEAN BEHIND WHISPER** when applying to show you read the job post completely (#RMjE2LjczLjIxNi4xMDA=). Hi future Likvido employee!\n\nAs the co-founder and Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of a very fast-growing startup: I need you.\n\nWeโre looking for a remote โdevelopment managerโ / "product manager". This is basically โThe Right-Hand of the CTOโ, as I need help with everything from speccing new tasks, testing tasks, answer questions from developers and even conceptualize new features.\n\nYOU DONโT HAVE TO BE ABLE TO CODE. However, Itโs expected youโre the rare unicorn that is both technically very strong but also very good at communications, user experience and understands the business side of things.\n\nWhat are we doing:\nSince we launched Likvido in April 2018, weโve absolutely nailed it. Not only do we now have 1.000+ customers - among many of the hottest startups and scaleups in Denmark - we also managed to get very serious funding, have very good unit economics and built a really cool technical platform. However, weโre just getting started.\n\nSo what are we doing?\nWe are solving the biggest reason for companies going bankrupt in Europe. You see, 19 % of all invoices are paid late, and roughly half of all bankruptcies are caused by lack of cash.\n\nLikvido is defining a new category weโre calling a โcustomer payment systemโ. Today you integrate Likvido with your accounting system, and then we automate sending out invoices, send our reminders, start debt collection and post back to the accounting system. Looking ahead, we will add financial products, give the whole organization access to our system and much more. In brief, we help companies get paid - on time - and forecast their cash flow.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n# Responsibilities\n
Your job responsibilities will be:\n\n- To maintain a high product quality, through both lots of testing of new features & continuously improve everything we have live\n- Ensure great performance by metrics such as: errors in logs, fast page-load, check request amounts\n- Release management and making sure new code goes live (without problems)\n- Help our CTO specify new tasks to our development team, and verify specification makes sense on all new tasks\n- Help our development team with questions on features\n- Be responsible for our internal IT support email\n \nTo make it concrete, during an average day, you could expect to do some of the following:\n\n- Testing a new feature made by a developer, and giving structured feedback (in Github)\n- Checking website speed and amount of requests (in Azure)\n- Testing a new release is ready to be rolled into production and then pulling the โrelease trigger!โ (in Azure Devops)\n- Reply to support tickets from our internal support department (in Intercom), and realize we have a bug, that you specify a solution for our development team (in Github)\n- Help developers with questions about tasks (in Slack)\n- Get a few hours to come up with some examples of how a new type of page could look (concept development) \n\n# Requirements\nWeโre very open to your background, but the following is important to have in mind:\n\n- Fluent in English\n- Some kind of formal education in business, economy, communication, IT or marketing is required\n- Youโre very detail oriented and structured\n- Youโre IT-savvy. You should be able to: 1) download development programs & run applications from your computer 2) be open to learn SQL / databases if you donโt know it 3) use many different systems\n- You have a Windows computer or are OK with installing Bootcamp and running Windows when you work. Parallels is not good enough\n\nA big part of the job is providing feedback to our developers by testing and speccing. Itโs also extremely important that youโre able to quickly understand what we do, so you can help us improve the product. Itโs a huge plus if youโve worked with SaaS (software-as-a-service) before, or has worked in accounting systems.\n\nItโs also worth noting that weโre a startup with big ambitions. This also come with big expectations. Hi future Likvido-developer!\n\nWe're looking for a full-stack developer to join our awesome, fully-remote, development team. Tasks will involve everything from implementing pages in ASP.NET MVC Razor (HTML+CS+JS) to making backend services. This is a "junior" to "early-career" position. Expect bit variety in tasks, and you can learn a lot!\n\nSince we launched Likvido in April 2018, weโve absolutely nailed it. Not only do we now have 1.000+ customers - among many of the hottest startups and scaleups in Denmark - we also managed to get very serious funding, have very good unit economics and built a really cool technical platform. The platform is ~18 months old. We have a big monolith ASP.NET MVC application, combined with 3 solid ASP.NET Core microservices. Everything is hosted in Azure and Github, and we use many of the Azure products, including Azure DevOps. The frontend is based on the "Porto Admin Theme" (typical Bootstrap admin theme), and we use a mix of Vue.js (complex pages) and jQuery (on simple pages).\n\nThe job:\nYou will be tasked to implement MANY different things. Examples:\n\n- Implement design files in HTML+CSS+JS (in ASP.NET MVC Razor)\n- Make (simple) backend services that store data\n- Fix bugs in solution\n- Make web-jobs\n- Improve the user experience\n- Write unit tests\n\nBasically, you will receive a large variety of whatever tasks on the platform. The plan is you will be the most junior on the team, and you will get many of the "simplest tasks" in many different categories\n \n\n# Requirements\nThis is a "junior" to "early-career" position. So the most important things for us:\n\n- You're smart & ambitious\n- You have some kind of educational background (preferably University) in relation to software development\n- You will need to have at least a few years of experience in .NET technologies and ASP.NET MVC (full-time experience not required). \n- You will need to have at least a few years of experience in building JavaScript + HTML + CSS solutions (full-time experience not required)\n\nYou're of course welcome to apply if you have more experience.
