This position will help us manage our compliance obligations and ensure that our operations are conducted in a way that meets security requirements. \n\n \n\nResponsibilities\n\n\nTake the lead on compliance projects, with a focus on SOC2 and other relevant compliance frameworks.\n\nCoordinate audit processes requested by key external partners.\n\nManage responses to security information requests from clients and partners.\n\nCoordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance policies and procedures are reviewed and integrated into all facets of Rithum’ operations.\n\nConduct regular audits and assessments, identifying potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk, and develop corrective action plans for the resolution of problematic issues.\n\nStay current on industry compliance standards and regulations, create and update company policies as necessary.\n\nCommunicate with external stakeholders including clients, auditors, and regulators as needed.\n\nPrepare compliance reports and present them to management.\n\nManage other Information Security projects as needed \n\n\n\n\n \n\nQualifications  \n\nMinimum Qualifications  \n\n\nMinimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in the technology or software development sector.\n\nFamiliarity with SOC2 and/or other relevant compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001.\n\nProven project management skills, with a track record of successfully managing compliance projects. \n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications \n\n\nBachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Law or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in compliance-related areas are a plus.\n\nExcellent written and oral communication and presentation skills, effectively communicating complex compliance issues to various audiences.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.\n\nCISA, CIA or other related certifications a plus\n\nFamiliar with cloud computing (AWS and Azure a plus) and the acronyms that come with it – SaaS, IaaS and PaaS.\n\nDetail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. \n\n\n\n\n \n\nTravel Required\n\nUp to 10%\n\n \n\nOther Duties\n\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities required of the employee for this job.
