\nTitle: Senior Cloud Engineer\nDirect Manager Title: VP, Engineering\n\nThe Role \nThe Senior Cloud Engineer is responsible for managing the infrastructure cloud operations and supporting the infrastructure needs of the Technology team in launching and maintaining new products across the enterprise.\n\nWhat You’ll Do\nCloud Operations:\n\n\n* Manage and develop the containerized SaaS infrastructure in multiple environments\n\n* Create and maintain scripts to automate routine processes\n\n* Utilize open source tools to manage platforms using Infrastructure as Code techniques\n\n* Work with the Product Technology Team to deploy new versions of software and improve workflow for faster deployments through Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment techniques (CI/CD)\n\n* Manage data storage availability and performance\n\n* Create, manage, and tune database high-availability cluster infrastructure\n\n* Implement tools to monitor critical infrastructure\n\n* Ensure platform can meet capacity requirements as products scale\n\n* Manage production reliability to keep systems operating above a 99.99% availability level\n\n* Follow processes and procedures as designated to ensure HITRUST\n\n* compliance is maintained\n\n* Implement technical security measures as defined by the Security/QA/Compliance Manager\n\n* Support disaster recovery planning and testing for infrastructure\n\n* Document all processes and systems\n\n\n\n\nInternal: IT Support and System Development:\n\n\n* Manage the infrastructure for internal systems\n\n\n\n\n\nIdeal Qualifications\nEducation:\n\n\n* Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or equivalent experience\n\n\n\n\nCertifications:\n\n\n* AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional or Solutions Architect Professional; or equivalent experience\n\n\n\n\nExperience:\n\n\n* 2-4 years of Software Development experience required (Python/Rails/Java preferred)\n\n* 3-5 years of Linux Cloud System Administration experience (AWS preferred)\n\n* 2-4 years of experience creating Terraform stacks within AWS\n\n* 2-4 years of experience creating automation playbooks (Ansible preferred)\n\n* 2-4 years of experience building containers and managing container infrastructure (Docker strongly preferred)\n\n* 2-4 years of CI/CD pipeline creation and management experience\n\n* 2-4 years of high availability database administration experience (Postgres and/or MySQL preferred)\n\n* 2-4 years of experience operating infrastructure for large-scale web applications preferred\n\n\n\n\nOther:\n\n\n* If hired, candidates must be willing to undergo a background screening and sign the Unlock Health confidentiality agreement\n\n\n\n\nPerks and Benefits\n\n\n* Competitive Salary\n\n* Health, Dental and Vision benefit packages to fit all types of lifestyle \n\n* Life, Short and Long Term Disability Insurance paid 100% by the company \n\n* FSA / HSA Options\n\n* 401(K) with a generous company match program\n\n* Flexible Paid Time Off (aka- unlimited)\n\n* Paid Parental Leave \n\n* Hybrid and Remote work schedules available \n\n* Employee Assistance Program (unlimited free telephonic counseling for a variety of issues such as mental health, financial support, and legal advice)\n\n* Employee Referral Program\n\n\n\n\nAbout Unlock:\nUnlock Health redefines what a marketing and advertising agency can do in healthcare by breaking down walls that have existed for decades.
